johncharles
Why blame the pastor and the missing rosary for the loss?Marquez noticed pacquiao's tendency, as so did others, of veering to the left while going for the k*ll... a force of habit so to speak. Its no secret that Marquez's technical prowess surpasses Pacquiao by a significant margin, that punch that shook the boxing world was no less than a juiced up technical punch. He still had his wits with him all the while as he was being pummeled by Manny. Like a sniper he knew where Manny's position will be, specifically the head, a second before Manny actually moves to that space. And his calculation was right, he pulled the trigger simultaneously as Paquiao surged to his left for the k*ll.Marquez's punch had a lesser distance to travel than the power punch Manny threw at him that same point in time. Nothing religeous about that, just perfect calculation and flawless counter punch by Marquez, that's what he is known for right? Edited December 10, 2012 by johncharles Quote Link to comment

junix
after all debates are over, the fact remains that it was juan manuel who prepared more than our bansang kamao. same punch that floored pacman. talagang pinaghandaan. Quote Link to comment
junix
Nice video. It wasn't a lucky punch after all. El Dinamita really had that Dinamita of a punch in his arsenal.yup...since last night i've been trying to research on what el dinamita did before the fight (training/conditioning) and i fortunately saw this video. what he actually said during the interview on the ring was true. it was not a lucky punch. if you look at the knockout punch, talagang inabangan ni marquez si pacman...same punch he's been practicing. the video will not lie. junix
I guess he knew that at one point in the fight, Pacman would come charging at him like what he did. El Dinamita really did his homework. In a sense, lamang na sya kay Manny coz Pacman hasn't done to him what he did to Pacman and that is score a sensational knock out. I'm really hoping for a 5th fight in the Manny-JMM saga. Sugar Ray Robinson and Jake Lamotta fought five times with Robinson winning 4 and Lamotta winning only once.this is where i admire marquez. while congressman manny was busy attending to other things, marquez didn't waste anytime preparing for the fight. a pacquiao-marquez 5 would really be a nice bout to see. with a busted pride, i'm pretty sure we'll see a different pacman. the million dollar question, however, would be - will juan ma be amenable to another fight considering he just beat pacman...convincingly that is. wendy testicleger
There is only one person to blame why Manny lost: Marquez - he was just too good Pacquiao was doing well in the 5th and 6th round before he kissed the canvas. Quote Link to comment

photographer
Floyd Mayweather on Manny Pacquiao: ‘Hopefully he can bounce back’ InterAKTV · Tuesday, December 11, 2012 · 12:21 am http://cms.interaksyon.com/interaktv/assets/2012/06/floyd-mayweather-court.jpgReuters For once, Floyd Mayweather had kind words to say about Manny Pacquiao. The undefeated American fighter took to Twitter to post his reaction to the Filipino icon’s loss last Sunday to Juan Manuel Marquez. Pacquiao was knocked out cold with a brutal right counter from the Mexican, who won for the first time in four fights with the Filipino great. “My prayers go out to the Pacquiao family. I know he loves the sport of boxing, so hopefully he can bounce back,” wrote Mayweather, who has had a contentious relationship with Pacquiao over the years. For a long time, the two men were the most heated rivals for the sport’s mythical pound-for-pound title, and a mega-fight between them was expected to generate record revenue. But a fight between Pacquiao and Mayweather was never made. The two camps have traded accusations, with Pacquiao’s side saying Mayweather is too afraid to fight the Filipino. A prison term for Mayweather earlier this year has also messed up the potential bout between the two men. Mayweather, meanwhile, has hinted about Pacquiao’s use of performance enhancing drugs, an accusation that has led to a defamation lawsuit the two parties settled last September. Quote Link to comment
photographer
^di ko alam anu pangalan nung tarantadung yun.. Bsta alam ko mas maganda next payt pastor vs marquez. Pacquiao says God led him to a man he calls "Pastor Jeric," an Americanized Filipino named Jeric Soriano who is a part-time pastor and does commercials. Pacquiao calls him his spiritual adviser. friendly0603
It may have been a sad Sunday for Philippine boxing yesterday but I hope this coming Sunday would be a happy one for Philippine boxing if Donaire beats Arce.Sana nga. But Donaire hasn't gotten the support of Pinoys the way Pacman has. Less will watch him compared to Pacman. If he dedicates this fight to Pacman and the Phils, maybe. But Donaire is his own man. I hope he wins. There is only one person to blame why Manny lost: Marquez - he was just too goodThis conflicts with this - "He still had his wits with him all the while as he was being pummeled by Manny."You can't be too good if you are being pummeled. If he was too good, then Manny wouldn't land 94 punches almost double what Marquez landed. Nothing religeous about that, just perfect calculation and flawless counter punch by Marquez, that's what he is known for right? Some people consider Manny's faith provided him his wins if you believe in that. His faith gave him the strength to survive those heavy hits from all his previous fights. Removing that belief or changing it automatically is to blame for his losses. That's just how you would interpret that. And also what poster below said. I don't see the logic in late night bible studies.i hate to agree with vubuli but he is right...manny is not that conditioned anymore...reason bible study hanggang madaling araw Manny is officially a LOSER!!!!we should be ashamed of his performance......he should renounce all of his endorsements and instead endorse salem bed!!!he's a DISGRACE!!!Speak for yourself. How many losses versus how many wins? Retirement and losing can happen to any great athlete. Doesn't make him a loser and a disgrace. Edited December 10, 2012 by friendly0603 Quote Link to comment
friendly0603
For once, Floyd Mayweather had kind words to say about Manny Pacquiao.Floyd knows that loss was extremely damaging to their superfight. It may never happen now. So much money down the drain because he evaded Pacman for so long. Quote Link to comment

Take a cue from Pacquiao himself and learn how to take it like a man. I guess he knew that at one point in the fight, Pacman would come charging at him like what he did. El Dinamita really did his homework. In a sense, lamang na sya kay Manny coz Pacman hasn't done to him what he did to Pacman and that is score a sensational knock out.
