hopia_mani_papkorn
Possible options are being considered on Manny's next fight ... According to Ka Freddie .. A possible showdown against Valero ... that is if the Gayweather fight still won't push thru ... Another option would be a third fight against Marquez ... CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERS!!! Quote Link to comment

CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERS!!!i duno if the valero fight would be any good. valero has a great record (27-0 all wins coming by way of KO) but when i saw him fight recently he didn't have very good defense. he just keeps coming forward with his chin up (instead of it tucked) and his head + lateral movement leaves much to be desired. with that said he has a great chin, as i've seen him eat punches and still come forward but i don't think this would be a very competitive fight. Hilig niya eh. Quote Link to comment

shafeeq96
What boxing greats say about Pacquiao http://www.mb.com.ph/articles/248946/what-...-about-pacquiao By FRANCIS SANTIAGOMarch 22, 2010, 12:04pm Sugar Ray Leonard“I like Manny because you know no matter who he fights, he’s like a perpetual motion, like a Tazmanian devil... He goes out there and throws a windmill and a barrage of punches.” (http://www.youtube.com, ‘Manny Pacquiao - According to Wrinky Wright, Sugar Ray Leonard & Lenox Lewis’) Winky Wright“I picked (Miguel) Cotto. I went against Pacquiao two times. Against (Oscar) De La Hoya and against Cotto. And both times I lost. Pacquiao is an exciting and dangerous fighter, man. Against Floyd (Mayweather Jr.) or against whoever, I’m not gonna bet against him. I thought Floyd would k*ll him before, but now he made me a believer.” (http://www.sportingnews.com/blog/The_Rumble/entry/view/46358/winky_wrigh...) Lennox Lewis“He (Manny Pacquiao) makes it (fight) very exciting to watch. You know he’s not gonna run around and you know he’s trying all the time. And there’s a lot of action and you know he’s not a dirty fighter. He’s tough. And it’s just great intensity watching the fight. I wish every fight is like that for a fan. It’s a promoter’s dream to have that type of a fight.” (http://www.youtube.com, ‘Manny Pacquiao – According to Wrinky Wright, Sugar Ray Leonard & Lenox Lewis’) Roy Jones Jr.“Pacquiao looked very impressive. Very Impressive. Pacquiao looked impressive against Ricky Hatton. He looks impressive when he knocks people out... I love Pacquiao because he’s such a busy fighter and he’s such an exciting fighter and you love to watch him because he throws so many punches...” (http://www.fighthype.com/pages/content5583.html) Mike Tyson“Manny Pacquiao is now on the vital edge of becoming the real megastar of his particular, own era.” (http://www.youtube.com, ‘Mike Tyson says Manny Pacquiao will be the megastar of this era.’) Roberto Duran“Pacquiao is very tough when he fights. He’s very strong. So I like him. Pacquiao is a man that charges on. You can land one on him, but the next time, he won’t be there anymore. He’s a very good fighter.” (Interview done before Pacquiao’s fight with Miguel Cotto – http://www.gmanews.tv/pbr/article/176980/h...-picks-pacq...) Bernard Hopkins“Pacquiao (is the No. 1 pound for pound fighter today), hands down. Right now he’s No. 1.” ( Bernard Hopkins Pacquiao is best P4P, September 2009) Evander Holyfield“Well, until you beat the guy, Pacquiao’s the best and that’s the thing. Floyd (Mayweather) hasn’t done that yet. I think he’ll give Floyd trouble. He’s got fast hands too, he’s left-handed and he’s got a lot more speed than pretty much all the guys Floyd has fought.” (http://www.fighthype.com) Quote Link to comment
