10: Reasons Pacquiao and Mayweather should fight

A weekly boxing list compiled by Michael Rosenthal. This week: 10 reasons Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. should fight.

 

1. It would settle the debate over who is the pound-for-pound king.

2. It would settle the debate over who is the best fighter of the decade.

3. It would generate a tremendous amount of money for all involved.

4. Pacquiao would cement his place among the all-time greats with a victory.

5. Mayweather would prove he’s as great as he says he is with a victory.

6. The event would be a tremendous boost for boxing.

7. How often do the Nos. 1 and 2 fighters in the world have an opportunity to meet?

8. We want to see Mayweather in a competitive fight.

9. We want to see Pacquiao in a competitive fight.

10. We want to see how high pay-per-view numbers can get.

Gayweather will chicken-dance around the ring and Pacman will grab the mic from the announcer and will sing "Dancing Queen"

This recent fiasco about Manny Pacquiao and krista Ranillo only shows what kind of a person the pacman is. He is nothing but a hypocrite bastard!!! His answer about the issue such as "crab mentality" and his "accomplishments" showed his true color!!! pweh!!! I will wait for the day to come that jinky will file an annulment case against him, take half of his loot and then elope with Freddie Roach ...it should have been the Pacman instead of Z Gorres :thumbsdownsmiley:

HAIL MANNY, FULL OF GRACE

Boxing is a character sport first and a skills sport second. Manny’s character was formed in a background that is ideal for a fighter –a background set in the kind of third world poverty that Americans have not known for seventy years, but a background known to spawn fighters in back alleys amid broken bottles and broken dreams. Unlike most of the guys here, I'm not gonna bash PBF because he is a really good fighter. Instead I'd like you guys to know that a match between PBF and Pacman would be an epic fight. You can see one who is very hard to hit and someone who can hit you without knowing where it came from. Technique vs. Power. Talent vs. Talent. I hope this becomes a trilogy!
