Well in an interview on a local Radio station, mayweather dismissed the claim that he is interested in coming out of retirement to fight pacquiao. In fact minaliit nya si Pacquiao, stating na minana nya lang naman daw ang pound for pound position sa kanya, at natalo na din daw si Pacquiao at di gaya nya na perfect ang record.

 

What can I say? Pretty boy is ego boosted. He will never allow a better fighter to dent his record. Kaya nga iniwasan nya si Miguel cotto eh. He is too proud and would never entertain the thought that manny could kick his ass, so he will just keep running his mouth.

 

In fairness to Mayweather, he is one of the smartest fighters out there. Manny will need more than muscle to beat him. He will need something to break his defense down and land his shots accurately to his face.

 

But if mayweather will keep running his mouth, he has to put the money where his mouth is by stepping again on the ring. Otherwise if he intends to stay in retirement, he should just shut up.

Just yesterday I would have disagreed with you. But after seeing the "invincible" Margarito get beat up by (an almost 40 year old) Mosley, I do believe Pacman can beat him... but make it 140, just to be sure. No sense in giving him that extra edge (of fighting him in his natural weight).

Yun na nga. Volume puncher si moseley at higit sa lahat ang ganda ng accuracy ng mga suntok nya. Lahat tumatama at tumatagos sa depensa. Sa totoo lang, masyadong malaki na si moseley for a welterweight. Maswerte lang at lagi naman siya umaabot sa timbang. But he enters the ring as a superwelter weight and maybe even a heavyweight.

 

Si de la hoya, malambot lambot pa katawan. Tatalaban ng suntok kahit papano. Tsaka kulang sa bilis. Si moseley maganda kumbinasyon power at speed. Plus marunong dumepensa at umilag.

Beer nga! pero di naman isang case. Its the pride that hurts. I mean margarito boxed like a bum last saturday. He had no strategy. His defense was wide open. He could not even utilize his jab to keep mosley away from him. Argh! Tapos nangulang pa sa mga hand wraps nya. If I am not mistaken 3 beses binalot yung kamay niya.

1995- he is fighting for light flyweight division with a 108lbs limit. that time pacman is weighing 107 lbs

 

1996 he fight for the 1st time over a 111lbs limit, going into super fliyweight with a 115 weight limits

 

1999 after loosing his super flywieght title he move to super batamweight division with a 122lbs limit

 

2003 for the 1st time pacman fight with a russian with over 122 pounds. giving him a sign to conquer the feather weight divsion. winning via KO. after his fight woth lucero he leave batamweight in move to 126 weight limit.

 

2005- 6months after loosing to morales, pacman beaten velazquez to take superfeatherweight title 130lbs limit

this record makes him compared to henry armstrong. some crtics says his last fight is just a circus but indeed , pacman created a circus, bye making a journey into different wieght limits. better than any boxer of his times.

ricky hatton- present light welterwieght champion. pacman will go down to a 140lbs limits.

floyd mayweather(if possible)- he beat odlh from lght middleweight division. and he win against hatton in welterweight title. if pacman fight this guy, they will meet in 147lbs limit.

 

antonio margarito- bob arum expresses that anything is possible, since margarito limits has been seen from his last fight. and pacman against tijuana tornado will be possible in 147 lbs limit.

 

juan manuel marquez- if pacman looses badly in either to floyd and hatton, pacman will go back to light weight division, facing all wishful opponents. jmm and pacman will meet in 135lbs limit.

 

edwin valero- pacman also wants to destroy the record of valero like what happen to george solis. the only conditions wants by pacman's camp is valero must win against a named fighter. valero must start looking for match in las vegas and fight at least a former champions. so he can proved his capacity to fight a big named boxer.

 

joan guzman- the unbeaten warrior are praying to a have a part of big blessings from pacman, but still need to fall in line.

 

juan diaz- the baby bull are eager to beat jmm just to have a big time. and again, if he win, he will sing his favorite lyrics "i want pacman"

Oh well, kung lalabanan nya man sina moseley at margarito, dapat sa mas mababang timbang huwag sa 147. Masyado kasing dehado si pacman kung laging mas malalaki sa kanya kalaban nya. Dapat the odds should be fair din naman. Though he had good success with de la hoya, it does not mean that will always be the case with the other welterweight contenders.

 

Kung lalabanan nya si Mayweather, pwede pa siguro. DI naman ganun kalaki si Pretty boy at di naman ganun kabigat kamay nya. Kung tutuusin mas masakit pa sumuntok si Hatton. Magaling lang talaga depensa ni Mayweather. Pacman is going to need more than muscle to beat him. He needs to develop more accuracy in his punches, yun yung naging kulang noon kay hatton. He also needs something to tear down mayweathers defense.

 

Kay Edwin valero naman, napapanood ko mga laban nya sa youtube. Malakas sumuntok pero kung tutuusin wala halos depensa. Bukas na bukas lalong lalo na sa ulo. He does not even attempt to cover up his chin. Lagi lang nakabwelo waiting for that one big punch. I too wana see his record demolished by pacman. I mean manny should give him the proper schooling he never had. Afterall this guy never really went the distance.

panalo din ako sa pustahan last sunday... i just dont like Margarito's style... parang msyado siyang nagpapatama and just waiting for his opportunity to strike kahit bukas ang depensa and knowing Mosley's accuarate punching malamang tatamaan sya ng isang matindi. Sugar's speed and power are still there despite his age... good for him and for us! hehe

 

 

para di OT: i think Manny fighting Valero is too risky. I mean, he has a lot to prove first before actually fighting the current P4P King. Too Much to risk so little to gain on Manny's side. BUT it'll be a site to see if this two finally collides... hehe

about valero vs pacman.

 

tulad to ng solis vs pacman. muntik na si pacman that time. kaso lumabas ang mas magaling after 4 rounds. and it happen na walang alam si solis in times of trouble. it only means na hilaw pa sa world class fight si solis. after that knockdown, like hector velazquez, pana, diaz, and other boxer who demolished by pacman, they never wished a 2nd meeting.

 

mas matalino si mayweather, ayaw manlang makatikim ng power punch ni pacman. hahaha. anyway lumabas ang kahinaan ni margarito. ang totoo hindi nya kaya lumagpas ng morethan 8 rounds, swerte lang sya kay cotto dahil naputukan nya si cotto. and cotto is not careful sa mga tinatanggap nya kay margarito. in contrast pacman matured well in defense, when you watch him from pacman vs dlh. very different sa unang luban ni pacman at morales.
