Juan1
Pound for pound ngayon si Manny, so he deserves a little respect. Fought Diaz and De la Hoya on a different division and he won. People do watch if it's Pacquiao on the ring, definitely the attraction here would be Pacquiao not Hatton. Last year he won all matches. Hopefully, the fight pushes through either a 50-50 or 55-45 split. cause it's going to be one hell of a fight. Wag lang sana masira si Manny dahil sa sinasabi nilang greed, he deserves more than Hatton. After all, He's the pound for pound fighter. Quote Link to comment
dragonei
Its his career its his life. Its his money its his life. Although I do believe that people indeed poured poison in his ears, sa huli di naman tayo ang mawawalan ng $12 million dollars. If he wants to plunge his career to the abyss thats his prerogative. So will any of you give him the good decency of at least helping him get back on his feet? None of us even knew he existed. Now all of a sudden that he is a somebody, we have the right as a spectating audience to tell him how to run his career and be pissed of when he decides something we don't agree to? Kung gusto mo yung laban eh di panoorin mo, bigyan mo ng kita boxingero. Kung ayaw mo naman, eh di huwag. Quote Link to comment
photographer
Guys, here the latest. Just in now 12 highnoon. Pacquiao will leave na for the US to sign the contract with Hatton for May 2 fight. In an exclusive interview sa DZBB, he did not devulge the hatian pero he said its fair enough na and the fight will pull through. Mark the date: May 2, 2009 (May 3 sa atin). He said he will start training by the end of February. Hintay lang niya si Jinky who will be arriving, together with anak niya, two days from now. TULOY NA TULOY NA!!! Quote Link to comment
dragonei
Oh magandang balita yan then. Lets hope accurate nga yang reports na yan. Huwag muna tayo mag rejoice hangang wala pang official word. Quote Link to comment
skitz
PEOPLE, let us all remember, MANNY PACQUIAO is the pound-for-pund best fighter in the world. The round-for-round most exciting fighter in the world as well. He is HOLDING ALL THE ACES. Hindi na gutom si Manny. He can retire right now and be set for life (even his children and children's children). So bakit siya babaratin? Dahil siya ay "Pinoy lang"? Nakngputa. Because DLH was then the GOLDEN BOY. And he DESERVES the 60-40 split. Kung ayaw nila, sila-sila ang magsuntukan. Tingin nyo, matalo ulit ni Mayweather si Hatton, what does that prove? Manalo si Hatton sa isang no-name fighter, what does that prove? NOTHING. That will only result in the QUESTION, are they good enough to beat Manny? NEGOTIATIONS TACTICS. Wag kaagad kukurap. Manny is right in negotiating from the position of strength. Like I said, he holding all the aces. MANNY DESERVES 60 percent, not one cent less. Quote Link to comment
dragonei
Oh well. Wait and see na lang tayo uli Quote Link to comment
skitz
As a fight fan, I'd love to see this fight happen. As a Filipino, I'd be greatly disappointed, however, if Manny doesn't get his 60%. Quote Link to comment
SoundWave
Quote Link to comment

dragonei
Quote Link to comment
dragonei
Correction po, di 60-40 hatian nila sa dela hoya fight it was 32-68 favoring de la hoya. Alalahanin natin manny overwhelmingly won the polls in espn.com as athlete of the year. Not just boxer of the year kundi athlete of the year. Quote Link to comment
Archdevil
hmmm... Manny is the best pound for pound in boxing. Boxing is business. Money. Quote Link to comment
thedynamite007
dami nyang arte siguro narinig nya ung mga criticisms against him ngayun pumayag na sya dahil alam nya wala sya makakalaban na quality boxer this year na malaki pay day Quote Link to comment

Wait and see na lang tayo uli ============================================================================ Pacman was on the phone and he confirmed that its a GO ! May 2 sa Las Vegas gagawin. Time of interview: before 12 noon at DZBB, forgot the name of the program. Hinihintay lang niyang dumating si Jinky and off to U.S....kung sakali daw gusto ng Hatton camp sa U.K. magkapirmahan, eh, dun siya pipirma. Pacman called to say the good news. Pero as you said, tama ka, a fight is not yet confirmed if both parties' signatures are on the contract. Pero 99 percent tuloy na. Quote Link to comment

Hatton bogged down and, kabalitaran, hindi si Pacman ang bumigay. Mawawalan ng hatak ng pera si Hatton. But the monetary partitioned will be announced na later after the signatures. That is if your "nya" is Pacman Quote Link to comment
