wizard23
at 147, if pacman fights the golden boy e di 150 plus pounds sya come fight time. baka bumagal si pacman nyan. ewan ko lang. this is an interesting fight to see but he's fighting a legend. his only chance is to wear him down by attacking and running until he delivers his killer KO punch hehe. When he fought Diaz, Manny was at 147.. the speed & power still there...so i think..he has a big chance versus Dela Hoya :thumbsupsmiley: Edited July 25, 2008 by yikes Quote Link to comment

hardtohandle
Manny's camp should let go of that proposed fight against De la Hoya, kahit "matanda" na si Oscar di sya uubra dun... Hindi nya kakayanin yun... Quote Link to comment
wizard23
manny's camp is after the money not the glory of winning it... imagine he's guaranteed $20million bucks win or lose. and he wants equal share in everything ppv etc. Quote Link to comment
wrencheart
before de la hoya fought stevie forbes, i would also agree that pacman stands zero chance against him, and that its just a big stunt, and just a fight for money... but not anymore... pacman has a legit chance to beat the golden boy and roach knows that... otherwise he wont push for that fight to happen... while its true that dela hoya is bigger and may be stronger, pacman is faster and if well conditioned will have a lot left in his tank in the late goings... at kahit gaano pa kalaki si de la hoya at kalakas sumuntok eh walang epekto kung di naman nya aabutan at tatamaan si manny... de lahoya was not very impressive in his last fight with forbes who is almost the same height as pacman... forbes is only 5'7" and he started fighting at featherweight division (or junior featherweight?)... if he cant knock out a small and slow fighter like forbes, how can he knock out a fast and stronger fighter in pacman? if de la hoya is 2-3 years younger, there is no doubt that pacman stands no chance against him... but he is very old (for a boxer) and quite slow already... very ripe for pacman's picking now... so it aint gonna be a circus and im willing to bet on that... any takers? telemaster_311
5'6 versus 5'10 and given each others resume. i think dela hoya will win this one. Quote Link to comment
jerzz
manny's camp is after the money not the glory of winning it... imagine he's guaranteed $20million bucks win or lose. and he wants equal share in everything ppv etc. true mukhang tinatamad si Freddie Roach mag trabaho kung si Soto ang kakalabanin, baka daw langawin at di uubra sa ppv, siyempre maliit lang ang kita, by percentage din sila eh At wala ding glory kung manalo man kay Soto, kahiya hiya pa pag natalo when he fought diaz, the weight limit then was 135lbs. then come fight time he was 147. i really dont understand why you have to set a weight limit then it's allowable to change weight pag mismong laban na. so if the weight limit with dela hoya is 147 and he maintains it at 147, dehado sya ke golden boy if golden boy increases his weight to 150 plus pounds. baka mahirap patumbahin si dela hoya kasi masyado na mabigat. pag si pacman naman ang 150plus pounds, ewan ko lang how he will fare performance wise. baka bumagal sya. lamang si dela hoya sa weight class. Imagine mo yung sakripisyo at diet niya. Edited July 26, 2008 by jerzz Quote Link to comment
wizard23
^ in that case, a heavier and taller golden boy, even if older, should not be taken for granted by pacman. Quote Link to comment
George Bush
this is really funny.....pacman vs ODLH.....this is a total mismatch...10 to 1 favorite for ODLH......as someone in the thread said...it is all about money for megamoney.......I’m not stating that ODLH-pacman wouldn’t provide some decent intrigue, it’s liking to a freak show where everyone wants to see what whether the rottweiler can annihilate a tiger. I’d pay to see that and I’ll pay to see the “Golden Boy” vs. “Pacman” but it doesn’t necessarily mean that it will be easy on the eyes. a frekshow indeed. Quote Link to comment
fatso8
it'll be a freak show, but i will still buy a ticket, watch & root for Manny! Quote Link to comment
omega_jef
