I think even if he's a strong bet to win the "gold" he didn't because it's a far more embarrassing if he loses. But IMHO, He should just retire, sayang ang graceful-exit, he shouldn't wait na para na syang Roy Jones before he calls it quits. In basketball, sana mag manage nalang sya ng team, mashado na na ccorrupt pati PBA eh.

Yes. Noli Eala is far better, they ousted him because of a petty scandal. What Narvasa is currently doing is far more scandalous.

exactly!!! amateur boxers are more determined obviously because winning the gold in the olympics will be their stepping stone in making it big in the pros. Pinaglololoko na lang tayo nitong taong ito. Di pa nag-iinit ang pwet sa senado, ang dami nang absent. this guy who wants to enter anything he wants to (will he be a vice-presidential candidate as what he is declaring this early?) is a disgrace in the senate. come to think of it...this guy just bumped off the likes of osmeña and guingona from the senate. palakpakan!!!!!! tsk tsk tsk

To be fair, I was willing to give his privilige speech a chance. Kung tutuusin, OK yun gumawa ng speech nya. At mukhang inaral basahin. But then.... he had to talk about the bible.

 

Somebody needs to explain to this guy what separation of chruch and state means and why it is important. Sabi nga religion or the bible is always the resort of a person who lacks knoweldge. Ang batas natin wala dapat kinikilalang relihiyon yan. So dapat hindi ito nakabase sa kung ano anong religious interpretations meron tayo. Kung hindi.... eh di hindi na magiging tungkol sa tao at lipunan ito, kundi tungkol na lang sa kagustuhan ng isang relihiyon. And the catholics being majority, sila na lang masusunod lagi. Paano naman yun mga protestante, yun mga muslim, yun mga di naniniwala pala sa dyos,

 

Hay manny. Kung gusto mo kami basahan ng biblia, magtayo ka na lang ng sarili mong sekta utang na loob.
