Exercise should be aerobic in order to burn fat. 15 minutes or more elevated heart rate. Doing crunches won't help. Crunches are not useless, they help develop your abs muscles. But unless you also do aero, your perfectly developed abs will be hidden from view by layers of fat. Diet is also important. Diet is not starving, it means eating right. Skipping meals is actually harmful. Drink plenty of water and get rid of sweets. Exercise and diet are both important, but diet is slightly more important than exercise. All the exercise in the world cannot make up for a bad diet. All it takes is a piece of cake (literally) and that's enough calories to run a marathon. Quote Link to comment
