abduljackolsalsalani
this line of work is unhealthy. from the environment na grabe competition at setup dahil yun pagkain mo regulated and sometimes beyond 12 hours ka pa. yun work is very stressful and naapektuhan ang mental health mo. monetary naman ok kung marunong kang mag ipon pero kasi kailangan mo outlet para mag ok ka kaya baka wala ka din maipon. ilustrisimokolakes7
Call center is portrayed so badly here. Based on experience,it isn't that bad and stressful. Yes may irate customers, kupal teammates(wc is common naman in almost all work) but once you clock out on your shift, wala ka nang iisipimn. Unlike other jobs, dala mo hanggang sa pag-out mo yung stress. It's also a good job to pay bills while youre trying to upskill. Quote Link to comment

Mrkiss
If you’re young and an undergraduate or someone just wants to build their skills, the call center industry can be your stepping stone. Just manage your stress levels and maintain your health. Focus sa goal of self improvement. Have fun every now and then. Balance in all things. Quote Link to comment

avayarun
Kahit anong job pa yan, it really depends on how you take care of yourself. Quote Link to comment
idkuser002
Maganda din nmn naitulong niya since nakakaupskill ka sa communication skills mo pero in the long run if yung sched mo is mid shift or night shift. Maapektuhan tlga katawan mo ng mga negative effects na related sa puyat. Quote Link to comment
Liebe
Health deterioration talaga jan lalo na kung panay papalit palit ng schedules nyo tapos puyat pa. Kaya need mo alagaan sarili mo. Quote Link to comment
fanboii3000
Own a small BPO wayback 2015 and holy sh** most of my employees have crab mentality. We had one pregnant agent who was a monster in sales, was the one reaching the quota all by herself. Other agents were sour af. Talks sh** about her coz they can't produce sales like she can. mulshine
I think it matters din kung saang call center company ka. Kapag BPO (Outsourced) mahirap talaga conditions dyan, lowball offers pa. So magegets ko how it can be a negative experience. It will be highly competitive din kase the site has to perform or the business gets taken away. Pero if nasa call center ka na in-house, then expect na hindi low ball offer and employee-centric ang company. About sa marereceive mong calls, depende na yan sa bituka mo I guess. Pero again, depende din sa sineservice nyong business. Sa current business namin if the customer is rude towards you and personally attacking you pwede mo itag as abusive and icoclose ng business yung accounts nila at bawal na sila tumawag. But then again, majority of the call center industry here is working sa BPO kaya gets naman why majority of the posts here are on the negative side of things. Quote Link to comment
