totoybola
Perhaps in previous years the answer would have been Civic. But for the most recent release, even honda club members say that the Altis is a whole lot better. The Civic didnt improve much but the Altis is a revolutionary model for Toyota. gilgrissom
Well, altis is what I drive, so ALTIS. Haven't driven a civic yet, wish I could so I can compare. But, so far, I'm satisfied with the handling of the altis and gas-saver naman. Quote Link to comment

totoybola
2004 altis vs 2004 civic? Altis. You can ask civic enthusiasts themselves. The 2004 civic just isn't as good its older versions. On the other hand, the Altis is a big leap forward (revolutionary perhaps) by Toyota standards. Quote Link to comment
Pepeng Manas
nissan lover here, so no bias between civic or altis. altis for me. but, then again, it's up to you on what you plan to do with your car. japorms, civic. practicality, altis.
teka muna, meron yatang mali dun sa huling postpano po kasi yung 1981 mazda 626 ko may power windows, power locks, at power sunroofsame with my sister's '81 toyota cressida para di OT: i like the civic better Edited May 20, 2005 by eagleyes Quote Link to comment
Pepeng Manas
OT (ulit):eagleyes, Cressida and 626 are not passenger cars. they are medium-size sedans, if not full-size sedans, and medium-sized sedans are considered to be luxury cars. So, tama lang na may power features sila. for toyota, corolla ang passenger car nila. and for mazda, 323 ang passenger car. (ewan ko kung tama ang term ko para sa mga car na ito=passenger car ) anyway, i got nothing against any other car manufacturer. i think every car manufacturer have their own pros and cons. and i think any of these car manufacturers are reliable enough (mitsu, toyota, nissan, honda, etc). it's just that they have their own specialties. for me, i prefer comfort rather than speed. and an important factor to be considered in comfort is the airconditioning. that's why i prefer nissan. 'ika nga ng ibang mekaniko, "sa nissan, mabubulok na ang kaha, malamig pa rin aircon." :thumbsupsmiley: Quote Link to comment

fastandhard
for me HONDA is my choice engine lang masaya nako. it has better fuel milage, faster and lighter than altis. as i remember honda lang yung may valve timing dati, ngayn lahat na ata ng brand may valve timing naren intel naren. suspension kse pwede naman palitan pero pag engine nasira maraming madadamay. mas mahal ata yung civic??? pero kung value for money altis nalang. kung may extra money ka pa civic nalang depends on what ur preferences are...... kung baga bat ka bibile ng mabilis na kotse kung d mo naman kailangan.....
