Merriman
Cebu is not the same Cebu I grew up (90's) in. Traffic is unbearable, flooded with foreigners that drove local prices up, the beaches are still nice though & hotels like Shangri-La, Plantation Bay, etc. I hope they solve the lack of roads & infrastructure soon much like in Manila where they're building new roads. Merriman
^^^ thank you!^^^ thank you!Hi FemYou Are Very Much Welcome! Here is an example of a tour that was offered to me last year,Really good if your the social media/instagram active type. Also good for first timers to kinda getYou acclimated with the island. 3D2N itinerary 3D&2N cebu tourAFFORDABLE EXCLUSIVE TOUR PACKAGE Day1city tour *Sirao garden*Tops skyline view*Temple of leah*Taiost temple *House of Lechon*Ancestral house*Cebu heritage*Magellans cross*Basilica del sto.nino*Fort San Pedro*Shamrock Pasalubong Center DAY 2☀️Badian & Moalboal Tour☀️ *Pescador island*Coral Encounter*Fish Feeding*Sardines run*Turtle Chase*kawasan falls*Canyoneering (optional)Overnight at Oslob Day3☀️☀️Oslob Tour☀️☀️ *Whale shark encounter*Sumilon island*Tumalog falls*Oslob Cuartel*Simala Shrine*Carcar Pasalubong Center ✅✅✅INCLUSIONSRoundtrip Car/Van TranspoWith Driver/GasEntrance fees/environmental fees/Parking feesAirconditioned AccomodationTourguideRoundtrip boat rideTransfer to Sumilon and Pescador islandSnorkling gearsSafety Gears ❌❌❌EXCLUSIONSMealsAirfareCity Tour Entrance fee minimal Amt for me though, Im from Cebu but my livelihood is to the southern part of the Metro,I just go there every 2-3 times a year. Its definitely not the Cebu I grew up with, you’ll be surprised By the influx lf Tourist, mainly Koreans & Chinese, alot of Europeans too, Its not that I dont want them there, a part of me just misses the Low key beautiful Cebu that I Grew uo with, here is also a place thats not too mainstream touristy but beautiful if u just wanna chill the f#&k Out, u know what i mean? However I still love being able to go to the topnotch beaches and go clubbing at night, preferrably hip-hopAnd cebu has great clubs/bars. Heres a taste of where we like to go to avoid tourists and just chill. - Mactan Resorts Shangri-La... I know it costs 15k-20k night, but I have an uncle and auntie get me senior discounts.. hehe - Tabuelan Beaches- Camotes Island ( quick banka trip) - Bantayan Island - Siquijor Island This is where u can allegedly buy Gayuma and kung may papakulam But here are some cons I have about Cebu that I wish Govt officials can handle. 1.Traffic! - even worst than metro Manila2. One main road to the south and north!3. Too many establishments without road widening4. Getting congested without mass transportation t i think youll love Cebu, its great to have the beaches in the day and experience nightlife at night. Hotel rates are friendly and so are the people too. I hope you enjoy your stay and for anyone else whos looking to go. 2 Quote Link to comment
