So, I think I have some experience here.. given that I've done this test several times every year since I've started..

When you compare the screening vs the comprehensive it's testing for the same things not including the optionals. But the test types are different.

They both test for the following:

- HIV(4th gen ab/ag)

- Hepatitis B & C

- Syphillis(rpr, tppa)

- CBC & Urinalysis (good indicator for possible infections)

I've asked two doctors about this, and they've said the screening package should suffice for most cases.

However, both packages do not test specifically for gonorrhea or chlamydia.. which is unfortunate since those are some of the easiest and most common std's you can get.(you can get them as part of the optional, but they are expensive!)

Hsv tests are prone to false positives which is why it's best to test for it when you have symptoms(ask ur doctor, this is just my opinion)

Specimen: blood and urine

No testing requirments, though I would suggest the following since they tend to affect results for urinalysis:

- avoid heavy physical activity at least a day before. This sometimes cause blood to be postive in urine. UTI can also cause the same so it can be confusing.

- avoid masturbating or sex at least a day before as well. Same reason as above

- avoid medication if possible, otherwise just inform them of what you're taking.

- avoid alcohol at least a day before.

Actual test for std screening only takes a few minutes.. but usually about less than an hour depending on the queue. My longest wait time was 3 hours when there were a lot of people.

Test results are posted online usually within 24 hours for everything, some will be faster than others.

Please also note that there are different testing windows for different std's, I myself though only go for the 4-6 weeks post exposure accompanied with one baseline tests after a risky exposure.(risky: condom broke, live, etc.)

My usual is every 3 months I go for an std screening along with urine culture tests.

Stay safe and happy hunting sir!

This is very informative. Thank you sir!

So just to add.. it looks like they changed up the optionals recently.. and these were added:

CT/GC/TV PCR Test (Urine) or (swab) - I'd personally choose urine.

It might be a better option as a compliment to the std screening package, rather than the urine culture.. but I'll probably end up doing both with how I am.

Small update for the CT/GC/TV PCR Test (Urine)

- best to call the branch you will visit for availability. It seems it isn't always available.

- price is at 3.8k, so along with the package 18 it will roughly cost you 6k.

- despite the price, I would highly recommended it to be part of your screening as it covers the 3 most common std's you can get.

May namention kasi yung nurse na 2-3 working days, tapos may namention din na after 30 days, di ko alam kung mali narinig ko or something

usually, the longest I've waited for an HIV test is until next day noon.

I would suggest you go in person/call the hotline to see what's causing the delay.

I've had one instance that caused me great stress back in 2019 since it was already over 24 hours and they haven't updated my HIV test.. turns out there was just an issue that caused the delay.

PM nalang sir if may further questions ka, baka private na kasi.

Ok thanks. Mukhang daming delay dito sa branch ko, kahit yung ibang tests more than 24 hours ko pa nakuha

I tried loveyourself na back then (HIV and syp lang), pero parang bago na set up nila as of 4/19/23...

may free (HIV lang) and may 500php na bayad (This service enables you to screen for HIV, Hepatitis B and Syphilis. As of March 1, 2023, results are released the next day.)

iniicip ko if pwede  sa love yourself yung  (hiv, hepa, syp) tas sa HP naman yung para sa (gono/clap)

Pwede yan, bale 3.8k for the optional test and 400+ for the cbc and urinalysis. You save roughly 1.8k.. pero ayun lang, with hi precision you get all the results online na which is convenient.

Kung sa hj lng nagkakaroon din ng chlamydia ? dahil sa oil na ginagamit din sa ibang Gm?? So much better kung magdala nlng ng sariling oil tapus ayun ipagamit sa thera

ang alam kong risk sa hj (skin to skin) is HPV (please correct me if im wrong) IF hinawakan ni thera yung puday niya or infected "area" niya tas hawakan ka....

so just make sure na clean hands before and after session, no open wound and pag hinwakan mo puday ni girl , hugas with soap/alcohol after

Theoretically sure.. maybe.

But in practice malabo yung mga ganyan.

Best to just get vaccinated for hpv so you can have one less thing to worry about.

The only real way to avoid std's is to not have sex at all.. and that's kinda boring..  personally I'm a horny bastard.. so I just play it a little bit safer while still enjoying.
