  1. THIS IS TRUE. THEIRS IS CHEAPER. LALO NA YUNG SA PETRON.

THE OTHER COMPARATIVE BASIS FOR ME CHOSING PETRON OVER SHELL NOWADAYS IS THEIR E10 BLEND FUEL HAS A HIGHER OCTANE RATING OF 95 COMPARED TO SHELL'S E10 AT ONLY 93. MAS MURA NA YUNG PETRON E10, MAS MATAAS PA ANG OCTANE RATING. :thumbsupsmiley:

  2. Just got a Sun sim to try again their services after I disposed off my sun sim about 2 years ago.

What can I say, it took me about 5 - 10 redials before my call is connected and the reception wasn't that clear.

The recorded voice keep on telling me "Circuit is busy . . . blah blah. . . "

Anyway, I'm still going to keep my sun sim hoping that their services will improve in the future and besides this is my third sim after globe and smart. :upside:

  3. Roach wants Pacman vs Oscar!

    By Nick Giongco

Trainer Freddie Roach said on Thursday (Wednesday in the US) that he will try to convince Manny Pacquiao to reconsider his decision to decline a fight with Oscar De La Hoya on Dec. 6 in Las Vegas. "Fighting Humberto Soto is ridiculous," Roach told The Manila Bulletin/Fightnews.com during a break in training at the Wild Card Boxing Club in Hollywood. Roach said he had already set up everything as far as training for the De La Hoya fight. "We need to fight a perfect fight to win against De La Hoya," said Roach.

:thumbsupsmiley:

For sure mas mababa ang kikitain niya against Sotto pero hindi naman siya bugbog.

And besides, a paycheck of below $5M with a Sotto match is not that bad tutal mayaman na si manny.

Maybe next year.

  5. The main problem with our country is this kind of thinking, that is why we deserve all the politicians we have right now. The words pride and honor, seemed a long forgotten word in our dictionary.

Manny has brought so much honor and respect to us Filipinos, it won't be too fast ( look at Z gorres, Banal , bautista , hawaian punch ... soon there names would be forgotten like espinosa.......) , before we have another manny pacman again in our country. The wait for another elorde after elorde was like 40 years......I hope he reconsider his greatness and legacy for the sake of money .....

I totally agree with you. This is supposed to be boxing and not WWE. :upside:

A champ should fight the #1 contender in his weight division and not someone who is about to retire this year with no belt on his waist.

And besides, Pacman versus Dela Hoya at Welterweight with what Championship Belt!? Nothing...

This is like watching Rocky Balboa (The sixth Rocky movie). :thumbsdownsmiley:

But if this boxing match push through, Pacman needs all our support.

    Go Pacman!

All cards are the same. They are very regulated because Banks make a lot of money from the marketing shinanigans that they do wherein they literary entice heaven and hell just to think of ways for you to spend more than what you have on your bank account now. Thats basically the deal all of them give you. They seduce you into spending money you do not have. My own opinion, One credit card is enuf too many. The trick in surviving your credit card is to use it very carefully and very wisely. The other dirty secret to outsmart these shysters is to pay all your debts on time. Never age your account not a day over what is past due. Otherwise if you age your account, you get into the american debacle on the subprime housing crisis that is going on now. These hoods entrap you with a huge cascade of Interest if you default. Up to a point where they can entrap you into getting sued in court. And they have the means and motive to do this. Dont pleasure them with opportunity. The rule of thumb, spend only what you can earn and pay. Never let your account age, do not buy-into any of those loans they throw at you to spend more unless you really need it and can afford to PAY FOR IT ON TIME. Best thing is to only have one card. BPI or Citibank or Whatever BUT NOT MORE THAN ONE (1) CARD. Thats enuf for your whole family. Always centralize and PLAN CAREFULLY any kind of credit spending. Its Deadly if you screw up.

    Very well said. :thumbsupsmiley:

  7. It's more natural for boxers to move up to a higher weight class rather than move down.

Oscar at 147 lbs. will lose not just fat but muscle and power as well, just like what happened to Eric Morales when he forced his body to go down at 130 lbs.

    Goodluck GoldenBoy

  8. As much as possible maintain speed at 80 kph (probably the most efficient speed for most cars) lalo na kung hindi naman nagmamadali.

Watch your tachometer. Avoid 3000 rpm and above (depende sa car). In my case, I always maintain my rpm below 2000.

When you see traffic ahead of you, don't step on the gas. Your car's momentum maybe enough for you to reach the traffic jam.

Regularly check your tire pressure (this is very important).

Regular maintenance of your vehicle is a must.

When using a car with an automatic transmission, sometimes you don't have to wait for the transmission to shift to a higher gear especially kung feeling mo kayang kaya ng car mo ang next higher gear sa current road condition. You can actually override this by depressing your accelerator and the transmission will automatically shift to a higher gear. Of course, this depends on the car and size of engine.

When driving at night and its not that hot, I don't use my AC.

  9. I recently purchased a Vios and I should say that it's a great buy. Great looks, great drive, nice looking interiors (especially the front panel), and most of all, for its fuel efficiency. Mine checks in at 8.5 kms. to a liter, which is fine with me. My old Revo guzzles up at 5:1.

    Sir,

Anong variant ng Vios mo? 1.5 or 1.3? Medyo mataas ang FC mo for a Vios.

  10. I prefer Motolite Excel Maintenance Free. I once used a Korean Brand (I forgot the name), OK din ang performance pareho lang ang warranty period but cheaper than motolite but I still prefer Motolite para sigurado.

AC Delco Maintenance Free . Mine is a euro-spec car so the positive and negative terminals are in reverse. OEM.

Yung Chev Optra namin reverse din ang terminal, I got a replacement battery at Motolite. Pero very rare ito sa Motolite.
