  1. Hello guys,.......my REQUEST is more for LEARNING,.............I am so damn EAGER to learn how to troubleshoot Laptops and Mobile Phones so that I could do it myself, and maybe someday, use the skills as my part time job.

     

    My QUESTION is: Which school in Metro Manila teaches short courses on thes things? I know MFI ( Meralco) teaches them, but the classes are almost always dissolved because am the only one enrolling usually.

     

    I would truly appreciate some tips on the school locations.

  3. I am taking Optimum Nutrition's WHEY Protien ( Double Choco) and AMINO Supreme 2222.

     

    So far it really helped me BULK up and gain strength,...although the WHEY doesnt taste as good as products from Cyto Sports' Muscle Milk and BSN's Syntha 6.

     

    Mahirap pati i swallow ( ay bastos,..I dont do that,..LOLS) ung AMINO 2222 since they are really,...HUGE capsules.....

  5. A combination of good cardio workouts and weight training or body-weight resistance.

     

    For me, interval training ( running) and circuit training ( whether weights or body weight) works BEST :thumbsupsmiley:

     

    Lately, I've also been doing tire-throws and sledgehammer training ( you dont need to be a UFC/Pride fighter to do such things,..HA HA)

     

    Make sure you have guidance of experts in fitness if ur new to working out.

    it's really funny and ironic when the only person who refuses to lie to you is one involved in a profession known for lying.

     

    let's talk about future plans on taking over the world someday. i have never let that dream go.

     

     

     

    I STRONGLY AGREE with you pare! The WORLD/ UNIVERSE is full of MYSTERIES, in almost all aspects of LIFE. :)

     

    And hell yeah! I would love to hang out and have coffee with you someday. Maybe you could share some of the fitness training regimen that you've been doing. ooopppsss, its OT,.....but seriously,.........this thread ain't just about guys/gals playing "SUPER HERO" to save a "Damsel in Distress".

  7. i actually did it. i took her home. i introduced her. the very first woman who was able to see the inside of my room was a GRO. funny how that goes.

     

     

    and what i noticed here (which i also noticed in almost all the other threads), is that people are always too quick to generalize. one, two, three similar experiences and they establish a rule of thumb (overconfidence theory). they dismiss each and every person who happens to fall under the same category as no different than the one or two or three they know, neglecting the fact that every single one is an individual. basta driver, sweet lover. i happen to drive. that makes me a driver. therefore, i must be a sweet lover. am i a sweet lover? that is subject to debate.

     

    in order for a hypothesis to be proven, an experiment must take place. the result of which will be a conclusion (which is also by the way, never 100 percent accurate. never.). an experiment usually takes a control group of 100 or more subjects. now honestly, how many of us have actually attempted an experiment? probably not that many.

     

    that is why "pare-pareho kayong lahat" is one of the stupidest expressions i have ever heard. "how the hell would YOU know, human behavior expert?"

    I must admit,...your wits, sense of humour, intellect and even your compassion for othe people definitely outweighs the fitness regimen that you've been discussing in the fitness and sports thread!

    I am currently dating a former PSP ( who only had 5 clients accdg to her),..and she's indeed one of the sweetest, HONESTn even one of the MOST GENEROUS ladies I have ever dated :)

  8. i found that doing roadwork early in the morning, and doing your workout later in the day works well for me. doing roadwork at night sucks.

     

     

    I would have to strongly AGREE with you once again. That also works for me. Road work is ALWAYS a must for me during mornings,..and gym or skill specific training at night or late afternoons :)

  9. I would say,.it really depends eh. And I truly AGREE that the definition of "LOVE" is not really exact.

     

    Even if you look at the dictionary, whether Oxford or Webster's,........"LOVE" is still NOT an exact Science. It actually is , sometimes, much more complicated than Rocket SCience! :boo: :blush:

     

    SERIOUSLY speakin,....one of my so many exes was an MPA,....she's one of the cutest angels of that MPA near Cainta. ( Ok am I giving enuf clues). We even met in Australia last year when she was there. She's now married to a local there. She's asingle mom btw. During the time that we were together ( 1.3 years),....we NEVER ever had a major quarrel. She eventually ended her being an MPA during our 3rd month of rel'ship.

     

    And now, one of my fubus is a former PSP, hwo was even "advertised" by sum1 here in MTC. And guess what?

     

    We've both been developing strong feeling for each other,...although we still have to know each other in many aspects.

     

    It is POSSIBLE,..........but there are definitely a LOT of OBSTACLES n ADVERSITIES that one has to face.......

    I STRONGLY AGREE with you pare! It always MUCH MUCH BETTER to be a 1st class version of ourselves, than be a 2nd class version of some1 else,...

  11. I love this motel ( Rosal) juz been there last Nov 4 with a "very special fubu" of mine. She really enjoyed the place. super clean and affordable ang presyo.......much better than Sogo,....well, no offence to the patrons of Sogo :) :hypocritesmiley:

  12. For me the BEST WAY to really achieve good, over all conditioning is to CRoss TRain. AM sure most, if not every1 here knows what CRoss TRaining is.

     

    VARIETY is the spice of LIFE,..as what they say. It's fun, you work out a lot of muscle groups, its not boring, and you lessen the risks of injuries.

     

    Foe me, my week includes 3 to 4 times of Boxing, 3 times of weight training, 1 or 2 sessions of either Muay THai or Yaw Yan,.....and in mornings, its either long distance running ( max of 2x a week), interval running( with lotz of sprints n drills) or simply going to the nearby basketball court .

     

    I also join some "body Combat" and "Body Attack" work outs at Ftiness 1st.

     

    VARIETY,..VARIETY ,.....VARIETY,..........so that you won;t get sawa sa work out mo :) :thumbsupsmiley:

  14. THERE is NO DOUBT in every Pinoy/Non -pinoy's mind and heart that PACMAN would wlays be the Bets Fighter, well; for the next 5 years maybe. He's a veyr good person,....but I doubt his ability to "lead" a hungry and underemployed/enemployed throng of people.

  15. GOODLUCK sa mga tatakbo s mga iba't ibang competitions,.damn! One of the things I miss about Manila,......

     

    Btw, dun s mga ndi pa nakaka try ng 10k, there's really no need to worry. The first time I ran was alreayd 10k, and I really won't consider myself to be a veyr fit person,.......I see a lot of older peepz who even run faster than me. Just make sure to warm up and cool down properly :cool:

  16. Pulled mucle from Teakwondo during my younger years,....... lotza body aches and sometimes "black eyes" from BOXING,....hehehe, sprain from basketball and knee injuries form too much long distance running,...

     

    iwasan nyo din ung too hevay weights,....its not juz gna injure you, it would also cause burn out and u'll eventually drop from the program......:( :sick:

  17. Whoever wants to TRAIN,..go 4 it! No 1 has the right to say " hey, ur sooo skinny, u cant train!" ,..or " ur sooo FAT and out of shape,..blah blah"

     

    all it really needs is a LOT of MOTIVATION, Discipline and ofcourse, the PROPER Training. Marami kse mga bara-bara and sigue sigue lang kung mag work out eh.

  18. MUSta na ang mga tumakbo sa BULL RUN ng PSE last Sunday? Nakaka miss n tlga ang mga running events dyan sa Pinas,..1 of the few things that I miss,..but TERRIBLY miss there,..hehehe

     

    btw meron DLSU run sa Jan 28 n ata un. and ofcourse, the usual MILO ,which is 3 times a yr ata sa Manila,....and the annual 25k ng New Balance,.... :cool:
