  1. This happened to my lady officemate. There was a facebook broadcast about her from one of the girls she knows accusing her of this and that. The problem is that the girl is popular and she even pasted the picture and gave the full name of my officemate. My officemate cried and I had to console her and let her leave early. My question is that since she wants to pursue a case of libel and cyber bullying against this other woman does she need to file a blotter report or could she just directly go to QC Hall and file a case there so that the case can get underway? I gave her indefinite leave muna kasi it's very traumatizing seeing the harsh and violent reactions of the opposing fb friends of the other girl.

  2. I had meeting of the minds moment with a lot of ladies in that industry but I also made it my habit to do a reality check on what will happen on the long run and if that doesn't work I simply walk around the mall or any public place and see many other beautiful ladies out there who aren't in their line of work. Ayun, snapped out agad ako. Don't need the added complication. Honestly, majority of these girls end up with their clients for financial reasons and because of those financial reasons of providing for them they end up "loving" them. Loving out of necessity is different from just purely loving.

  3. follow up question din po sir/maam. My friend works sa isang BPO(call center).. he was assigned to one account but had to leave because there was a death in the family. He was reinstated but to a different account... the account he went to had a lower salary but he disputed that he should retain his old salary which is a lot higher and is mandated by labor code. Nakuha ng friend ko yung basic niya dati but the benefits of the account he went to he didn't get. When he showed me his contract I found something questionable.. on page 1 it just said 2k non tax benefits but on page 2 it says a TOTAL of 5k non-tax benefits so he brought this up w/ DOLE. Nagkaroon ng hearing pero unfortunately parang ang dinahilan daw ng respondent from the company is "nagkaroon ng typographical error on the contract and we'll edit that!" Diba po once a contract has been signed eh binding na po yun?! The only things I know they can change in the contract pag may typo error is yung name, date. Pero in terms of policy and benefits parang ang habang typo error naman yun.. isang buong paragraph!? Kasi on his old account my friend only had a max of 1.5k non tax benefits but on the new account it's 5k, ang laking bagay din yun. My question now is, Pwede ba i edit yung contract since it's signed.. ironclad agreement na eh. And 2nd.. pwede ba gawing "reason" na nagka error sa contract??? Considering the contract is always reviewed before being printed in triplicate before giving it to the employee. Does the company have the right to exclude the benefits of my friend from his new account? Diba ang sa batas ng labor code eh the employer should give the employee the higher salary and the better benefit?

    Salamat po.

  4. Hi. This happened last week with a female colleague of mine. She was away from work due to illness but while she was away one of her "enemies" at work filed an incident report against her and also verbally reported the "infractions" against her to the HR Manager. I was there and know for a fact that those allegations are untrue. Of course to be fair I informed her that an IR was sent against her. Here's where it got confusing.... when she returned to work she was asking the IR documentation from Human Resources because she's planning to file a civil case against the complainant for libel, slander, derogatory remarks..etc. BUT.. HR didn't want to give the said IR documentation because according to them that's "company property" ??? What the heck?! Can the company do that? I mean logically speaking kung may nangyaring more grave incident like sexual harassment pala sa loob ng office at nag file ka ng IR eh di mo rin pala pwede pahawakan mga dokumento mo to be used in court?

  5. @rocco69 - thanks po sa mga sagot. May pahabol pa po kung ok lang sana? Yung sa contract nila may bond n 20K for "training expenses" so that means declared tax/liability yan. Ang problema po ngayon eh yun ang hinahabol nila sa mga employees na umaalis ng less than 6 months. Can they legally claim that 20k maski wala naman silang mga legal permits to conduct business in the first place? Also, can the employees ask the company to provide a breakdown of expenses para ma prove yung claim na 20k nga ang ginastos para sa pag training nila? Salamat po.

Laking tulong ng Art. 100. biro mo perfect attendance bonus nilang 3.5k per month na 1,750 per cutoff(15-30th) naging 1,500 pesos nalang for the entire month and they have to maintain 1 month na perfect attendance imbis 15-30th?

  6. Ask ko lang din po. My relative also works in a call center pero that specific call center has had a lotta complaints for the past years. Upon further investigation from BIR, QC Hall we found out that they had no permits whatsoever found in QCH and even the BIR is after them because they're not registered into their system considering that call center branch has been in operations for nearly or more than a decade. My question is, since there are no legal permits from that company eh automatic void na ba ang contract? Marami kasing employees dun nakausap ko who are complaining about the bonds, sudden loss of benefits w/o even revising the contract... kumbaga, team huddle nalang daw, verbal broadcast and yung attendance sheet will also double as a signature of agreement. Mayrron palang ganun? Attendance signature pwede gawing Signature of consent??? Diba dapat ire-revise ang buong contract specially when it's money/benefits ang babawasan or tatanggalin? Hope you guys can enlighten me. Thanks.

  7. yup.. roadwork or biking in the morning. Pag pauwi then hit the gym pero unlike some people who have problems sleeping after working out eh saken hindi.. I'm tired kaya napapatulog ako very easily. But I have to be consistent w/ my workout right now.. tumataba uli from all those fiestas and late night kainan w/ friends.

  8. I took up Krav Maga, Samba and Muay Thai when I was in the military pero may kasabihan nga mga trainers namin... "it wouldn't matter even if you're Bruce Lee if someone points a gun at you within 10ft. You'll be riddled w/ bullets before you react to shoot and pin them. Of course remember na di ito gaya sa movies na papayag ang suspect na lumapit ka sa kanya so that you can take em down. Sa panahon ngayon walang ganun ka tanga na holdaper unless di nya talaga intent pumatay.

  9. yup.. chambahan lang talaga. I've purchased mga mouse ko sa kanila and 3 years na working fine pa. Yung encore kong wifi router is 3 years na din ata ok parin no problem. Even yung micro sd card ko and flash drives ko 5 years na ata eh working parin. Pero pagdating sa cd/dvd disc nila eh yung talaga ang chambahan to the max. Minsan di pa nga tumatagal ng 3 weeks yung writable discs mo eh can't read na or no disc detected.

  10. Willie, Kris A, Manny P, John Pratts, Tulfo brothers(maangas kasi nasa media pero napa 1 on 1 mo sila baka tumiklop pa sila. One of the brothers actually got shot I recall and dun sa hospital he was whimping like a baby), Gretchen B, John Lloyd, Mo Twister, Bong R., Jimmy Santos(sobrang turned off kami ng mga kapatid ko when we found out and saw him sa mga "establishments" na ganun. For cryin out loud pa wholesome image ka pa eh sa loob pala ang kulo mo!) And of course, almost all ng mga newbies sa showbiz ngayon.. tama kayo lahat, pang face value lang sila.

  11. 1) Saken... always keep a level head.

    2) Walang yabang yabang.. Pa name drop name drop kesyo ikaw ay kamag-anak ni ganito or ninong mo si ganyan..etc.. Walang pataasan ng ihi. Humility is the best policy.

    3) Just have fun. Pag naangasan yung isa tao sayo dun even if you did nothing wrong eh don't add fuel to the flame.. just seek for the manager or OIC.

    4) Don't get pissed off pag naunahan ka ng isang guest sa "dream angel" mo. Remember, it's just work for those ladies kaya walang personalan. Remember, no matter how much you invest sa mga babaeng yan eh most likely they're not after a relationship or something special w/ you... pera lang kailangan nila dyan.

    5) If you can't accept those facts.. wag ka nalang mag bar. Pumatol ka nalang sa girl na "regular" ang work.
