  1. Derek Fisher... I used to think he is a weak link, but time and time again he gives the Lakers what they need to win... taking a charge, hitting a shot to stop a rally, hitting a gamewinner, making a contested fastbreak lay-up with 3 Celtics all over him...I can go on and on... this guy is just a winner....

  2. Right now, I hate Lebron James.. A no-show when it counts the most? An ego that overshadows the whole NBA? Sheesh!

True... that is why I now question his passion to win... so what if the elbows injured?... I guess in the end Lebron still looks out for number 1... selfish just plain selfish. I pity all the fans of Cleveland.. what a shame.

  3. pero itong game 4 sa jazz ito sure yan watch it bro......

Its possible... the Jazz might win game 4, but winning the series is out of reach in my opinion.

  4. Eto lang yon in the past kahit nandoon si Kirelenko at Okur may ipinanalo ba silang series sa Lakers? Wala. In 2008, partida pa sila wala si Bynum at Ariza. The Lakers won in 6 games against the Jazzy. Last year. Nanalo ang Lakers ulit against the Jazz in 5 games.

One win by the Utah Jazzy doesn't eliminate the Lakers.

True... the Lakers have beaten the Jazz consistently during the past couple of years... that is why I was hoping the Nuggets and Lakers meet in the semis, but without George Karl the Nuggets lost early. The Lakers will beat the Jazz... there is absolutely no reason to think otherwise.

  5. he is a good player. as a gm he sucks big time. to tell you honestly he shouldn't have returned in 2001-02 and 2002-03. he just embarrassed himself when he played for the wizards. i think this was more of a publicity gimmick on his part.

Good? he was the best... even players today are chasing his legacy.... Kobe,Lebron,Wade... each and every one of them... heck, even Magic and Bird say he is the best. :thumbsdownsmiley:

  6. Sorry if I say this, but Floyd Sr. must be delusional. I think he still does not believe in Pacman's punching power.

Man, can't wait to see Pacman beat the living hell out of Floyd Jr's @%$, if PBF gets pass Marquez. Just to prove to Floyd Sr. that Pacman is for real. ;)

Just a thought... what if MP and Mayweather fight does happen and PBF wins?... or is that not possible?

I think this is possible if MP and Mayweather will fight at 147 lbs and above... :mtc:

  7. hehehe! i posted this on Houston Chron's site, people don't like it. one person called Sheed another Classless Thug and Houston doesn't need another one of those. :D

Give the guy a chance!!! hehehe ... thats what I say... look at Ron :thumbsupsmiley:

  8. he'd better! he's getting old! hehehe! :)

hmmm... seems like Sheed is indeed a perfect fit for Houston. :thumbsupsmiley:

Perfect indeed....SHEED TO HOUSTON!!! music to my ears hehehe, maybe we can get Rip too hehehe... thats a solid veteran 2 guard for the Rockets...

    Rocket lineup:

    First five :

Brooks at point, Rip and Artest at the wings with Rasheed and Yao manning the rim.... Off the bench we have Scola, Shane , and the rest of the crew!!!

  9. ^well, you answered the "who" in my previous post! ;) Brad Miller or Sheed would be excellent, IMHO. :)

i think TMac's contract is also about to expire in 2010... but im not sure. anybody knows?

    from Houston Chron:

hmmmm.... how about Shaq? hehehe! just sayin'. :)

Shaq?.... that would be okay, IF he agrees to come off the bench for Yao... because if you play Yao and Shaq together; it would probably be the slowest team in the NBA... good running teams will burn Houston.

Rasheed would be perfect for Houston, he can play the 4 or 5 spot, great defender, can post up, and shoot the three...

and Houstons strong defense would even be stronger... :thumbsupsmiley:

  10. There seems to be a lot of love for Yao here hehehe... :thumbsupsmiley: Is it possible to get Brad Miller? or better yet, get Rasheed!!! I would love to see Artest and Rasheed together in one team.. Rasheed and Yao can share minutes at center

If the Pistons trade Rip and Rasheed, Houston should go after them... Before any wishful thinking on my part can someone tell me if T-macs contract is up or is there a year left? :upside:

  11. Twas a good run for them this year though . . . but yeah a trade will most likely benefit them as he's not getting any younger

If Im not mistaken, I think T-mac is just 31yrs old, to say that hes old is wrong... I think he is fragile though... often injured and doesnt really show up when it counts the most.... If I was the GM, I would package Yao Ming and T-mac and trade them with someone like D-Wade and perhaps some veteran role players... :thumbsupsmiley:

Imagine, Brooks at point, D-Wade at guard, Shane and Artest share the SF position... AND a rotation of active veteran Bigs... or maybe even Cris Bosh. Dont have any idea how to make it all work though. <_<

  12. These Rockets are damn awesome... just imagine how huge the disparity in talent is ....

I'm beginning to think that they might deserve to win this series...

The effort and guts of this team is amazing.

Cant wait to watch game 7... I hope we get to see a close game. :thumbsupsmiley:

  13. Game 1 was great for the Houston Rockets... a total team effort, inspired by Yao hehehe

Although the Rockets won game 1, I think that it was more of what the Lakers failed to do... they simply played bad...

We are in for one hell of a series... if the Rockets pull out a game 2 win. T-mac is probably hitting his head with a rock right now... or probably shopping around for another team he can jinx hehehe :thumbsupsmiley:

  14. A lot of things can happen in this series... if Houston can steal one in LA then we would probably see an exciting series and I would think that Houston has a chance... if they dont, then we would probably see a 6 game series at the very best.

I'm looking for Artest to play as rugged as ever... they need to try and punk the Lakers out of their game, if they dont , then its bye-bye Houston. :thumbsupsmiley:

  15. MJ ... the best there was, the best there ever will be... 6 rings, 5 MVPs , 10 scoring titles , 1 defensive player of the year award(he was MVP in the same year!), 2 Olympic gold medals..... too many achievements to mention. simply the best. :thumbsupsmiley:
