we got the PAL package, something around 10k each i think.

the nicest thing about PAL is there are less people, even in the plane. they don't fill it up to capacity.

 

there are travel agencies that offer packages as low as 7k, it's in the cheaper hotels though

but i think where you stay won't matter so much 'coz you'll be out most of the time.

where did you stay with the package from PAL? is that from the PALAKBAYAN package? Cebu Pacific's offer is also aroound 10k. i'm just worried about the accommodation. baka sa station 3 yun, ang layo...

I went to bora alone ... Had a great time kahit solo flight. PLan ahead what you want to do. Never a dull moment here if you know where to go.

where did you stay? how much did you spend for accommodation?

^i'm thinking of availing airline package as well. from which airline did you avail the package? how much does it cost you? i've only checked cebu pacific and their package is around 10k+ as the cheapest. that's quite expensive for me, hehe i'm planning to travel in bora by january. kalibo flight is not a problem since i would also like to witness the ati-atihan by that time.

it will take a lot of logistics and 'tips' to enjoy this island paradise on your own (with your partner), but when all is done, nothing beats the experience. :thumbsupsmiley:

i own a myphone for almost 6 months already. it serves its function as a dual-sim phone. very convenient. and walang problem for the past months i've been using it. pero nagsawa rin ako kaya im planning to sell it na. namimiss ko na ang nokia, yung orig. ang ayaw ko lang sa myphone e ung cam. 2mp na nga pero di mo naman magamit sa gabi kasi walang flash at kahit may ilaw e malabo pa rin.

^ano kaya difference nung 1000h sa 701 series ko, aside from the memory?

i changed my OS na pala from Linux to windows xp. it consumed less than 1gb. my friend was kind enough to include 8gb sd card where ms office is installed. in alll, i have 12gb of memory na ang hirap lang ng XP kasi parang ang liit nya, di ko masyadong mabasa. unlike in Linux, which is specially made for eee pc kaya tama lang yung size ng fonts. but anyway, mas ok pa rin ang xp kasi i get to use ym with webcam

just got back from bora. the weather was really nice, mainit at di mabagyo! haha! we stayed at la carmela with free breakfast and dinner. iba na itsura ng bora ngayon, may mga harang na. maalon din ngayon, i don't know why pero sa station 1 di naman masyado. konti rin lang tao, as usual puro koreano. marami na ring bagong resort. overall, ganun pa rin ang bora, pero parang di na maganda sa station 2 while station 1 still holds the quiet and serene atmosphere.

for the must try foods siguro ung mga paluto sa d' talipapa and pati yung mga ihaw na isaw/bituka/hotdog sa tabi tabi, hehe.

im still enjoying my eeepc. though yung parang excel application nya, di captured lahat ng formulas that i need. sad. but still ok.

I recently bought a laptop bag specifically designed for asus eee pc. Cute sya kasi maliit. Its a sling bag with just right cushioning. But im still looking for other laptop bags na pang girl ang itsura. Baka may alam kayo. Karamihan kasi pang 13" monitor..

My trip to bora will on aug 9-11. Sana hindi bumagyo. Until now wala pa rin kaming nahahanap na place to stay..

there's this really nice stretch of white sand beach down south. it's in glan, saranggani province. the sand is even finer than those in boracay. you can tell since the water seems "cloudy" a few feet from the shore -- a result of gentle waves causing the sand to mix with the water. i'm sorry i cant post a picture but, take my word for it, this is one hell of a nice beach.

Burger: thanks for the link. but i think it's more applicable when Windows is installed. i'm still using Linux. takot din akong magkalikot on my own baka lalong masira ko, hehe. anyway, have asked people around na rin and they say na it doesn't have a modem. but it's ok. im using na lang either wifi or dsl (just like right now, wifi at glorietta).

medyo mahirap nga mag type dito sa laptop na 'to. but i'm still keeping this. its so cute!

i bought this cutie na kanina, in blue haven't tried browsing the net yet using this. i noticed yung isang port (or whatever you call it) for telephone line nakasara or nakatakip but i was able to remove it. i'll try sana dial up connection pero i cannot connect since it says na parang i don't have a modem. how shall i go about this? wala ba talagang internal modem 'to? patulong naman...
