  1. Just bought a usb fan a few days ago. Test it for a few seconds in the shop before I buy it.

When I got home, the fan stop working in less than 5 mins.

I brought it back to the CDRking and have it tested, it works.

When I got home, once again, the fan stop working in less than 5 mins.

This time when I got back to CDRking I requested them to test it for at least 5 mins.

After a few mins, the fan stop working, and CDRking gave me a replacement.

This time, the fan works like a dream.

When you buy at a budget store, be ready to put up with this kind of inconveniences, what you pay is what you get.

  2. Before Honda Civic 1994 ESI

Now Honda Accord 1999 VTIL - manual

Do you guys know where I can get parts for my Accord?

The problem with old Hondas is once the 'casa' declare a particular model as 'phase out', you cannot legally buy spare parts anywhere in the Philippines.

In fairness to Honda, it is because Hondas are expensive and diffficult to take apart and put back in.

  3. My friend have 3 kids, only the first one is truly his.

His wife f#&ks around and got child #2 and child #3 from other studs.

Even if the 3 kids look different from one another, he still loves them equally.

Up to now, the 3 kids still look up at him as their own father.

Already in their teens and tweens, none of the kids still bother to know who is their biological father.

Because for them, a real father is the one who is there for them in good times and bad times.

  4. my friend told me to be aware of hotel kimberly along malate, classic case of lousy payer with excuses such as the boss is out, no signature on the check, the accoutant is out, the drawer is locked. blah blah blah. be careful of a certain ms juvee (purchaser) and ms ann (check releasing), these gals work in tandem to give their suppliers hell.

Over 50% of the restaurants in Malate are difficult to deal with.

But if you monitor their sales, lots of customers are coming in and out of the premise.

In Quezon City, it is even worst.

Over 50% of the restaurants close in the 1st two years.

Maybe our average commercial rent is too high.

  5.

    Late reply to your post.

My first on-road two-wheel motorized experience was on a Piaggio Hexagon; a clutch less scooter. Though this was my "first ride", I would think I learned more about motorcycles and riding with my Honda CB400 Super 4.

Between both bikes, the Piaggio offered more wind and body protection and was supposed to be easier as it was clutchless. However, it also had weaker lights, weaker brakes, smaller tires (which means less road-surface traction) smaller shock absorbers which translate to poorer shock absorption damping. It's acceleration was also slower, and on the road and with a motorcycle, one of the mind-sets to avoid a potential accident from happening is to accelerate harder to avoid contact.

If your body can handle the weight and budget is not an issue, find a decent Honda CB400 Super 4. It will only hurt you by about Php 120K on average. The beauty of that is after learning from it, you'll still pass it off at the same price, unlike many other bikes that you purchase brand new but immediately lose value once ridden.

    • It's 400cc so you can enter the expressway
    • It can bring you more than 200km before the next fuel stop; need I say its economical .. can run 20km to a liter
    • It has dual calliper brakes in front so it stops confidently
    • It's rear brake is a single piston and has enough bite for 1st gear slow traffic crawls
    • It's only weakness is the rectifier and for oil seals which are easy to replace
    • It's bulky enough to make car drivers move to the side thinking you are part of the LTO flying squad
    • It has enough aftermarket accessories just in case you want to bling it up
    • And there is no shame riding one as most big bike riders have had their moment with a Super 4

BTW, I'm not a motorcycle dealer and I'm also not recommending that you purchase a bnew unit.

Enjoy your journey in motorcycle riding, and btw, never without a helmet, gloves, and an armored jacket

    Thanks.

    Re: Landing gear for motorcycle

Has anyone seen this kind of gadget? It looks useful in our stop and go traffic.

    Thanks again for your attention.

  6. Honda = high resale, expensive parts

Toyota = lower resale than honda but cheaper parts

Only Honda casas are legally allowed to sell genuine Honda parts.

If Honda decided to 'phase out' a particular model,

Your'er on your own, and no legitimate businessman would dare to sell you the parts out of fear of legal actions against them.

  7. Vista hotel near recto avenida

    Careful!

Some of their rooms are smelly, noisy (you can hear and feel the jeepneys roaring below), and some toilets don't work. Check the room first before paying, because it is not possible to get a refund if you don't like the room.

Towels are clean, toilets have hot/cold shower. They have porn channel on their TV.

  8. May I ask for advice on a house and lot being offered to me.

Said property was awarded to the new owners (who are selling it now to me) after Sheriff's Final Deed of Sale was given to the new owners by the RTC in Valenzuela City and the period of redemption expired with the debtor and all possible redemptioners failing to exercise right of redemption in 2007.

Several manifestations and petitions were filed by the debtor redemptioners during the years 2011, 2012, 2013 and in all instances an Ex-Parte Motion for Writ of Possession was granted by RTC Valenzuela, denying the debtor's petitions. This year 2013, the Sheriff executed the Writ of Possession and the new owners are finally now in possession of said property and are offering to sell to me.

If I purchase the property and when already titled to me, the debtor redemptioner elevates the case to the Court of Appeals and assuming the case gets elevated further to the Supreme Court what are the possible scenarios for me as purchaser and new owner if the SC rules in favor of the debtor redemptioner?

If possible, try to have a out of court settlement with the debtor.

Otherwise, forget about the deal, it is not worth it. It is not easy to travel around in bulletproof cars and walk around in bulletproof vest all the time.

  9. ^ ser, baka may problema yung sa kawad nyo mismo di kaya? recently nag report kasi ako ng problema sa connection ko and after performing a line test from their end, they detected an issue, i got that exact same make & model from PLDT as replacement from my old one tapos naging ok na ulit ang download speed ko. I assume may binago din sila sa kawad namin kasi halos lahat ng bahay sa buong kanto namin pinagpapalitan yung mga boxes for the phone lines.

Nope, we found out that the Kasda KW58293 have some sort of a factory defect because the internet runs fine we every time we use a Zyxel unit - and we have already tried 2 different Zyxel units.

Kasda wifi modems runs fine only during the 1st few hours.

  10. PLDT wifi/modem Kasda KW58293 - the worst wifi/modem I have ever used.

After going thru 3 units, I finally give up and go back to an old Zyxel p-660hn-f1a

No wonder Kasda modem are free from PLDT, bulok kasi. Not worth it even if it is free.
