  1. Hats off to the Volcanoes for representing and WINNING. However, the sport just doesn't appeal to me. I can't find an explanation, I just don't find it interesting. I guess people are more interested in sports that they're they're able to play at their own backyard, which is why Pinoys are darn fanatics when it comes to basketball and billiards. Sports that people don't have to exert too much time, money, and effort to play and enjoy.

  2. guys, before you judge any one put your selves in one of the azkals player...even if you were the captain, i doubt you will stop the 2 from what they did. im not saying that what they did was right but lets not blame all of them for what happened. boys will be boys..a simple complaint would siffice but to sue them with sexual harassment..for me its abit too harsh. any complaint by ms ramos would surely be acted upon as she is a fifa march official. i agree for a disciplinary action but a lifetime ban is too harsh.

If I was the captain of the team, of course i'll tell my boys to act accordingly, knowing that an offiicial will be coming over. The captain of the team should know better and Younghusband, in the first place, should have told his boys to dress up and behave. The reports also mentioned that he was laughing as well and did nothing. These are pros and they're no longer boys. There's always time to have fun and act like 'boys', but they should also know how to respect authority. Sexual harassment isn't just about being offended by an act that's sexual in nature, it's more about imposing one's power over another. And the 2 must have thought that they have power over every women, including Ms. Ramos.

  3. yes he is the strikeforce welterweight champion. but thats strikeforce. hes paid his dues there. has he paid his dues in the ufc? does that one fight automatically qualify him as the number one contender and bump off carlos condit outright? he gets a title shot after a single fight in the ufc after being away for what? hmm, 4 years. yes you read it right, 4 long years.

you said he came in there and put on an exciting fight and be a threat to gsp? what?? him all of a sudden a threat with just a single fight after being away for four years? exciting? yeah in a way especially with the way he ran his mouth. no offense meant to his skills but clearly a title shot this early? cmon. if my arguments arent valid then dana white is a god.

just the same let me ask you bro, what if carlos condit (remember he said he wont fight anyone and wait for gsp whos injured until he got bumped off) didnt accept the koscheck fight and invoke his number conterder slot, what do you do with him now? after all he is the number contender before gsp got injured. do u just bump him off because here comes nick diaz after a four year long absence from ufc and gave bj penn a beating?

Yes, with his credentials and that fight with Penn. That qulifies him to become the number one contender. I'm not saying that Condit doesn't deserve the shot, what I'm saying is Dana White's decision is as valid as your argument. A title shot this early, you say. Why not? Dana did the same thing for Jake Shields who had a lackluster UFC debut against Kampmann. The difference between their post Strikeforce fight is that Nick won decisively. The fight being exciting? Definitely, yes. Both men came to fight and slug it out. You can see that they've been in a war, looking at their faces after the fight.

As for Condit, hats off to him for being a man for the business. I don't think he'll act like a spoiled brat for Dana taking the shot from him. Diaz didn't just bump off Condit, he was the originally the number one contender before Condit. He didn't lose the contendership because he got beaten by someone, he lost it coz of his bonehead decision to ignore Dana and his manager.

  4. mark munoz wins. gave some nasty blows to chris leben and shuts out lebens eye. and calls out anderson silva. i hope nick diaz learns a thing or two in giving apt courtesy to titleholders.

dw shouldnt gave him the title shot. there are other tough fighters in the division he hasnt fought. he hasnt faced for instance carlos condit. josh koscheck who everyone knows is a bad ass mother fcker. or maybe dan hardy, the hard nosed brit who loves a brawl too much. jake shields? thiago alves? and the list goes on. dw gave him the title shot because he strutted around the octagon cussing out load on gsp? thats disgusting.

kudos to condit for accepting the koscheck fight after being bumped off in the title fight against gsp.

So why did Dana give Nick Diaz a title shot? Well, you can't disregard the fact that he has an 11 fight winning streak, that he is the Strikeforce welterweight champion, and when he gets in the ring, he's there to fight and put on a show for the fans. He may not have fought the UFC bad asses that were mentioned, but those he fought aren't nobodys. He may be a total ass but that's just the same Nick Diaz that everybody knew. Was it because of the cussing and strutting? I totally disagree. He came in there and proved that he can put on an exciting fight and be a threat to GSP.

  5. lesnar vs overeem is gonna be one hell of a fight!!

if brock does not improve his striking i think overeem may take this one...

What Brock really needs to improve on is how to take in shots. It's obvious how much he panics whenever he gets hit. Reem's striking is miles away over Brock's and even if he improves his striking, he'll get smashed if the fight stays on their feet.

  6. Forrest should really work hard on his ground game. It's the same thing that happened during his fight agains Jardine and Evans. He seems helpless everytime he's on his back and being pounded.

Sayang si Luiz Cane. He's got a good standup game but once hit, it turns things around.

Next in line for Anderson Silva would probably be the winner of the Sonnen/Stann fight. I think everybody wants to see a rematch with Sonnen, the only challenger who really got him in big trouble.

  7. The recent lost of Tito Ortiz to Evans was so devastating - A knee to the solar plexus!!! The first time I felt terrible for Ortiz, I think he has done enough for the sports and its high time to hang his gears... or he should re-invent his fighting style/skills ala Randy Couture...

He's got some left but not against top brass fighters.

  8. UFC 133 RESULTS:

Rashad Evans defeats Tito Ortiz via TKO (Strikes) Round 2

Vitor Belfort defeats Yoshihiro Akiyama via TKO (Strikes) Round 1

Constantinos Philipou defeats Jorge Rivera via Split Decision

Rory MacDonald defeats Mike Pyle via TKO (Strikes) Round 1

Brian Ebersole defeats Dennis Hallman via TKO (Strikes) Round 1

Alexander Gustafsson defeats Matt Hamill via TKO (Strikes) Round 2

Chad Mendes defeats Rani Yahya via Unanimous Decision

Ivan Menjivar def. Nick Pace via unanimous decision

Johny Hendricks def. Mike Pierce via split decision

Rafael Natal def. Paul Bradley via unanimous decision

Mike Brown def. Nam Phan via unanimous decision

Ortiz is no match for Evans

This should be goodbye now for Sexyama. 1 out of 4 fights. And that one win isn't even decisive.
