  1. Guess I got the answer myself .........

On my most recent visit (which was actually last night) at their Tomas Morato Branch, me and my sister were one in noticing that some "cost cutting" and price adjustments are starting to take effect.

Most of the marinated meats are starting to taste the same wherein before one can expect different flavors. The beef had this weird aftertaste. Also the sashimi slices are becoming smaller. (but in fairness, they are still good) Kimchi tasted way too salty (and not spicy). The Hot & Sour Soup is neither hot nor sour.

Perhaps I was mistaken, but isn't their bottomless drinks included in the 580 price tag? (for dinner time) from what the waitstaff told me, there is an additional 55 pesos for the drink.

    -------------------------------

as for the long lines ..... well, initially there was. But by the time it was near 9:00pm, there were already lots of vacant tables.

the bottomless drinks are not included in the price tag for dinner time but only for lunch time. still, it's a great price for eating all you can.

  2. Hi, I have a question here regarding dual-citizenship.

My uncle who has a son abroad has been going back and forth the US and RP as required by his green card. This year he is eligible to apply for US citizenship now that we have a dual citizenship law here in the Philippines. If he becomes a dual citizen, is he no longer bound to periodically go back to the US meaning he can just go there at his leisure? Thanks in advance. :thumbsupsmiley:

The purpose of the dual citizenship law is to allow Filipinos who have acquired citizenship of other countries to re-acquire Philippine citizenship and participate in a political exercise, i.e. vote in elections. As to going periodically to the US as required by the green card, that has nothing to do with and is independent of our dual citizenship law.

  3. 1. government employees above 35 should have the right to retire and claim his/ her pensions and other benefits (napansin ko kasi sa mga public establishment matatanda na yung mga employees)

Actually, government employees who have served at least 15 years of government service can already retire under the GSIS Law and get their retirement benefits. So, bakit maraming matatanda sa gobyerno? Dahil they have the option to avail of the aforestated retirement or retire at 70 years of age and get higher benefits.

  4. Death penalty for every crime where the penalty provided for by law is higher than 6 years

Death penalty when the offender is a public official regardless of the crime committed

Dean penalty by cutting the head or by firing sqaud

    Make the law retroactive

--- ewan ko lang kung d mangilabot sa takot mga criminal and tipid sa pera pang maintain ng kulungan---

Make the age of responsibility at 15

-- madami bata isip criminal eh

    Legalize prostitution hehehe

---para sa mga menyaks gaya ko...

Making a penal law retroactive is dangerous and wrong because you are going to punish/penalize someone for something he/she did which was not yet a crime when he/she did it. When that someone did the thing, he/she did not commit a crime and, hence, he/she was never a criminal.

Even if a person committed a crime when it was not yet punishable by death, the penalty which was adjudged to said person cannot and should not be elevated to death because that person has already been adjudged to suffer the penalty imposed upon him/her prior to the escalation of the penalty for the crime committed to death.

Agree ako sa legalization of prostitution. At least, monitored ang sex industry workers and the state of their health. Minimized, if not eliminated, ang pagpasok ng minors sa prostitution.

  5. Aglipayan ako, lolo ko obispo pero i go to a cathloic church para mag simba, konti lang kasi aglipayan churches eh

Aglipayan din po ako. We are Filipino Catholics. We are separate from Roman Catholics. However, our religion is Christianity. Aglipayan is a denomination of Christianity. The other denominations of Christianity which I know of are the Roman Catholics, Greek Orthodox Church, the born-agains, Protestants (Methodists, Baptists, etc.)
