I experienced the same problem with SMART WIFE.  I shouted at them.  Mine was

down for almost a month.  They fixed it finally but it is only 56kbp per sec.

Is it possible to make this topic a venue for hacking exploits, say like choosing a site to enter and retrieve information and post what the hacker got? something like a hack-contest? In that way the thread becomes more interesting we could also share info (vulnerabilities, styles, etc) to people who would want to try this out.

Yup... or during boot press F8 or F12 (i forgot eh).. pag lumabs yung boot menu, you can try yung option na last known good configuration... it that works, it will save you time in installing or repairing ur pc...

have you tried deleting cookies, files, checking security, privacy(should be on med.) on the ie options.... also try disbaling the internet security if you have one... :cool:

If the card is bad, if you connect a patch cable to it, it will have no light at all on the LAN card itself, or the driver will have an exclamation point.

- If you ping the loopback or localhost and display request timed out then the card is bad.

my NIC doenst have any light on it, it is a built in card and the other card that i have always get a 0.0.... ip address( does this show that it is already dead/bad??? )

also on the device manager it shows that all card is good....

how cant you tell if the NIC card is bad or not ??? :blink:
