san miguel doesnt deserve a coach like siot and all their expenses will go to nothing. with their team right now, there is no excuse but to win the championship.

these are the key match up. it boils down to breaks of the games and freethrows. even if ateneo is better than lasalle on papers and in bench depth, i think lasalle can win this. this is going to be one hell of a series. on the coach side, i think franz is better than black.

i will put my money on lasalle plus the points.

magnolia is a starstuded team. the coach should be in control of this and should be smart enough on the rotation of players. i dont think siot can do this and this is very evident in the last conference. adding washington is a plus factor but how will he be inserted in the rotation is the question.

siot is not fit in this team. what san miguel can do is trade some of their players or talk to some of their star players and convince them to play as role players.

change siot if they want to win. i also suggest that they trade cortez and unload some of their players and get role players instead.

i dont agree with jong's statement. coaches will play a crucial role in game7. jong should shuffle his men properly and should again control the boards. i think he needs to talk to crisano to focus on his game and not to give up silly fouls. he is effective in guarding thomas and can piss him off.

the gins hav a lot of slashers in mark junthy artadi tubid. they should be smart enough to get air21 in the penalty early in the game. man to man, air 21 has the advantage. but i guess, if jong will play it smart, they will win.

the key here is get arboleda, thomas and david into foul trouble. both arboleda and david loves to use their hands and can easily get pissed off. junthy tubid artadi mark should play it smart and get fouls from them.

lastly, do not give air21 an open look in the 3pt area.

for me, unless they get a good point guard they will go nowhere. the team is composed of good players. there is a championship potential in this team.

the best thing that happend in game 6 is the low post plays of alexander and him being the first option. i think they should use the same strategy in game 7 and shooters such as tubid, junthy, sunday and mark should always be moving for open shots.

as ive said before, coaches are important in this kind of series. perasol proves he is better than jong.

unless jong decides to put reavis and crisano with alexander to control the boards or jj returns even not 100%, there is no stopping air21 anymore. last night, its not marks fault. it is clearly jongs fault. in the last 2minutes, 2 or 3 timeouts and had a chance to take the lead. it is clearly in the play that he wants mark to hold on the ball. he didnt even see that arwind had marks numbers last night. very stupid. the play should have been anchored on alexander or junthy intead. also, alexander hesitated upon receiving a pass from junthy. if he went strong, either a foul or had a chance to tie the game.

in the last 2minutes last night, it was evident that jong dont know what to do and dont deserve to coach the gins.

Mamaril can be good in guarding and banging bodies with Air21 forwards like De Ocampo, Se, Espinas, etc.

i dont think so. banging bodies doesnt win you games. the gins needs to play smart basketball. mamaril is stupid and cannot be relied upon. i still believe crisano and reavis should be given more playing time.

the key in the gins win in game 4 is alexander's presence in the paint and controlling the rebounds. also, i dont agree in jongs decision to use mamaril instead of reavis. i think the rotation of big men should be menk crisano reavis and alexander. mamaril is small for the position and stupid. if jong continue to use him instead of reavis and if alexander did not play as he did in the last game, i dont think the gins can control the rebounds and win game 5.

in order for the gins to win game4 is control the rebounds and good rotation of players. make use of crisano and reavis and also, rotate the players in order for mark, paul and junthy to be fresh in the 4th qtr.

i agree that jj is a big factor for the gins. as i have said, the gins can win without jj. look at how they played in the 1st 3qtrs. there are 2 things that were very evident in the air21 win, domination by the big men and defense. i dont know why reaves was not fielded in. i know that menk is swerte but scoring can be done by junthy mark and alexander. defensively, they are in the losing end. i guess that cause them the game.

also, i think air21 wants it more. jong should utlilize his big men properly. i cant imagine him fielding mamaril for menk in the crucial 4th qtr. he didnt use reavis until the game is blown out. he didnt even tell his boys not to give canaleta or other air 21 players a good look to shoot the 3pt shot.

o well, i guess it will be 4-2 in favor of air21 unless the gins will come up to something that will enable them to control the boards and help alexander.

the true value of the coach will be tested today. let see who will choke or not. I think even if tubid plays or not, or if jj is not 100%, the gins still has a lot of players that can contribute. the question is that how will jong use them. i think willy wilson can match up well with gary david and crisano can be utilized against ranidel.

everybody is entitled in their own opinion. i think the series can go up to game 7 and i will not be surprised if the books or bangka will make a lot of money because air21 will win more odds than the gins. majority or 70% or more will be on the gins.

if the big men of the gins will not contribute and help alexander, i think air21 will have a good chance of winning the series. i think jong should use crisano more than mamaril for match up and crowd impact.

the odds in game two is gins+1.5. after beating air21 in almost all department, suddenly they are the dogs. something fishy and bumomba ako ng malaki sa air21..........ayos!

air21's big men dominated the boards and the paint. that dictated game 2. also, all air21 players are crushing the boards. if the gins doesnt have an answer to that or their big men will not contribute and help alexander, i dont see them winning the series. except for if mark will play the same as he did in game 1 all througout the series.

this will be an exciting series. i will not be surprised if air21 will win game 3.
