Science is a way to help understand the universe and apply that knowledge to make things better (ideally). The bible is a guide to life based on early Christians on what it means to be morally good. It's not a book of facts but a book based on belief inspired by faith. The bible is not the sole source of truth and those that have studied it properly understand it. The more classic argument is actually faith vs. reason. At the end of the day, both can be misunderstood and misused if one is not careful.
