Had a friend who took his wife and daughter on a road trip one summer. Went from Laguna to Zamboanga on anything but an airplane. Stayed at small hostels and pension houses. Guess what his budget was? Food and drinks inclusive for 3 people..... P15,000!!!!! His name is Radel Paredes and teaches art in USC Cebu.

This is a true story

I wonder if it was ever popular here in Manila, but we used to have afternoon discos at Cebu Plaza Hotel's Bai Disco. It was usually held on Saturdays and we would give parents weird reasons for heading to school on that day.

I remember in the mid 80's and in high school, i was playing the piano intro of "Enveloped ideas" by The Dawn everytime we have parties at my friend's house. Did that to impress chicks....
