  1. Compound and Isolation exercises go hand in hand. Compound lifts are pretty much "king" for muscle building as it targets different muscle groups at the same time. On the other hand, isolation exercises can be beneficial when you have lagging muscle part that you want to specifically improve on to build more muscle.

  2. Fat burners do not work. It's just a placebo effect. Concentrate on your workout and diet to trigger weight loss. Make sure youre in a caloric deficit as well as lifting heavy in the gym. Eat protein riched foods. Minimal fat/carbs. Add Cardio/HIIT on your routine as needed.
