  1. No argument here. The Cavs have no chance in hell of beating the Ws. The Game 7 loss can be blamed for Green and Smith going off and Rozier and Brown not being able to play their usual games. They had to have and off night at the worst possible time. Brady is the GOAT. I didn't know you're from Boston.

    I am from PH...

But been working in Manchester since 2016.

It really feels different when your cheering for your actual Home team, which I previously experienced only during MBA days in the Philippines...

Yup, i thing moving Kyrie might be the move if the beat the Cavs in ECF...

He's good but great? I doubt it. Great players don't abandon their teams to team up with fellow superstars. Larry didn't do it. MJ had debacle after debacle before finally winning one. All these guys never ditched their teams. Kobe proved he can do it without Shaq. Tim never ditched the Spurs even if they were losing in the playoffs between 2008 to 2014.

Let's see what Danny does but if you ask me, I'd keep this team intact or trade someone to a team that gets Mo Bamba. Ayton will surely be with the Suns and Porter would be the sure number 2 pick. Both are franchise players in the making.

The era right now is different than before, players move on regular basis.

I think this is due to the fact that media feeds minds of people that greatness is based solely on Rings [and recently Finals records, 6/6] is the reason why this is happening.

I remembered when Kobe publicly asked for a trade, i wonder how much backlash would Top Players today have if they did the same though, in this social media age,,,

  2. I am disappoonted but conforted by the fact that we almost made the finals sans two all stars. Logically, with Gordon and Kyrie playing, the Cadavers would be lucky to last 5 games with the Cs. Keep the team as is but if Danny can trade Al for the Big KAT, he should or trade for Mo Bamba.

I would prefer KAT over Kyrie or Hayward though...

Those 2 are known to have lingering injuries, while KAT is known for his durability.

Al would also be a better choice to move...

  3. Just a feeling, isang tao lang yung nagaaway lage.

No pressure for cavs and james. Sobrang loser naman ng warriors at need to break the group na kapag natalo sila sa finals.

hahahaha parang Skip Bayless [v] Colin Cowherd pala dito...

  4. If the Cs went to the Finals, there is a chance they'd trade Kyrie. Rozier played a bad game at the worst time possible. Terry and the Marcuses will be the core of the bench of the Cs next year along with Theis and Semi. Ainge doesn't need to change anything. With Kyrie and Hayward aboard, the Cs are gonna crash the finals next year. It's pure logic. If Hayward and Kyrie were healthy this year, the Ws would be hard pressed to beat the Cs.

No, Lechoke did not choke the life out of the Cs. The Cs lost it more than the Cavs won it. Lechoke had his usual game but it was Rozier and Brown who played bad games at the worst time possible and the Cs allowing Green to go crazy.

    What ifs...

Remember when the Pacers/Raptors upgraded their lineups saying they can now beat the Heat/Cavs?

    What happened then?

We can just dwell on what really happened.

So this are all a matter of What Ifs...

But I'm feeling good about the C's future.

I think they have a better chance of beating the Warriors than the Cavs because of their system and tenacity.

I was a bit disappointed about Kyrie not being in Game7 though.

But our city will be celebrating for the next years with Championships other that what Brady brings...

As for LBJ not choking the life out of the C's, i guess i'd disagree with that.

I hate to admit it but i think he did.

46pts in Game6 and how he changed the complexion of the game in Game7, bullying Tatum at every play after he was dunked on.

Give credit where it is due.

He's dominance in the east will soon end, but that's one great player out there.

  5. LeBron Choked! the life out of the C's, unfortunately his reward would be a 3-6, and a sweep maybe.

What should be the C's next move be?

Trade Kyrie? He was not even at the Game.

Trade Brown+Rozier+Picks and go after KAT/AD, or any upgrade for Baynes?

LeBron's East dominance is almost over, should they wait another year?

    Busy offseason for Danny Ainge...

  6.

MJ came in during the 1984-1985 season and he ended his career on 2003 if im not mistaken. im thinking off the top of my head.

Bird came in during the 1979-80 season and retired in 1992.

As far as ranking them, sports journalists, rank them by reflecting on what they have seen in the entirety of their careers. In order to make an overall decision

I'll post the SI and ESPN ranking for MJ.

Exactly my point as well... I thought It was who was the Best Player of All Time, not the Best Player when they played against each other :)

I must admit, Larry really did had MJ's number on the post, but that is a given especially on the rules during that time where you can post up and back down from to 3pt line going to the rim.

But i don't think that is the only basis. The Numbers posted by Mr.Totoy have no bias. They do not change regardless if you are a fan or not, basic numbers and accolades of an entire illustrious career of 2 great players.

Still do not agree though with LBJ on #3 for ESPN though, not yet...

  7. Just a question though, how many years were MJ and Larry both in the NBA? [Larry Only Years?] - [MJ/Larry Years] - [MJ Only Years?]

Because i think the 2 guys are referring to different things...

The Basis of one is the entire career of the 2 great players, while the basis of the other is the middle part only where they faced off...

  8.

one thing's for sure. In all my years, I've never seen nor read another player talk about another player and call him a GOD. go figure haha.

The Homer comment looks like a generalized statement. If he calls people and that included the sports journalists who have a lot of years and EXPERIENCE covering the NBA who have more access on the planet earth more than him who was just watching at home on TV Homers because they said MJ was the greatest or better basketball player. We can also extrapolate this statement and apply it to all people who say that Lebron is the best, Kobe is the best, Kareem is the best, Larry is the best as Homers as well.

That statement makes absolutely no sense because why would you call journalists who have seen and interacted with these players for years, YEARS. including one who covered his/their favorite player. Just because they didn't place his favorite player higher or even the highest on the list makes that person calling them a Homer. it sounds like someone who is bitter, angry and jealous and would go so far as to attack the journalist's credibility. It's like saying a Medical Doctor who has years of experience tells you that you are sick, and because you don't believe you are sick you attack him.

One other thing i read that the journalists took into account is the Longevity of the player. Its being able to play for a long time. Not just the stats, not just the championships, not just the indiviual accolades. From what i saw and read, they said being able to play to at a high level for a long time counts.

That's why they ranked Magic higher than Bird, they were both 2 sides of the coin, but Magic is ranked higher because of championships and he played a tad bit longer than Larry. Of course the counter that they would say is, Well Magic got Kareem and Worthy. Well some would say that Bird got Parish and Mchale. The argument is, Magic got it done with 5. Larry only got 3. No one should make excuses like "oh we got injured" and so and so, If Bird probably got 5 or more, i would bet that he would be ranked higher than Magic. But he didn't, he didn't get it done, in the end. Results do matter, no one should use injuries or other players as excuses because the result in the end is the deciding factor.

Sir, Larry Legend actually said that. I tried searching for it as well just now if that was true... hahaha Here's the link...

  9. *Feeling Announcer*

I believe Totoy left the building, and boy he left it with a strong statement.

This is a Playoff Atmosphere we have here.

Both Valid points from both players.

From the away team, statements are based on entire accomplishments on each respective illustrious careers.

On the home team, statements are based on only games the two great players met.

    Sana may rematch...

Trashtalking begins as one competitor starts using unnecessary name calling...

    Career Accolades:

    MVP: 5 and 3 = MJ

    Finals MVP: 6 and 2 = MJ

  10. ^ And yeah, there are too many injured wrestlers nowadays (Cena, Orton, Balor).

And Bray Wyatt too... Di ko magets bat di nila mapush ng maayos yun.

Kailangan na din ng Bigman na Face/Heel... Just like in the attitude era Taker/Kane/Big Show or they calll them monsters...

Baka yung Strowman maybe or Samoa Joe...

  11. Thank you, Daniel Bryan. Now that he & CM Punk both gone, who will take over as the new face? Maybe Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn or Dean Ambrose. Nevertheless, both men left a legacy in the WWE & paved the way for wrestlers from indie circuits (e.g. Kevin Owen, Finn Balor, Samoa Joe).

Seth and Ambrose i think... Balor is currently injured.

  12. Yup I also think steve kerr was a big part of the improvement ng warriors. Dami nya rin siguro natutunan kay popo.

And confidence na rin cguro ng mga players kaya significant improvement ng players specially curry.

I think spurs and warriors are both undefeated in their homecourt this season. Looking forward sa laban nila homecourt naman ng spurs.

Yup... Yun din + yung next na labang sa OKC.

  13. Spurs team deserve respect. Team play talaga. Proven and tested. Not sure lang kung kaya pa nila makalusot sa west dahil sobrang ganda ng laro ng warriors but come playoff time sana healthy lahat ng players para maganda laban.

Looking forward to it... Lalo na dating kasama ni Pop si Steve Kerr diba?

  14. Hahahaha! Another lame excuse which is getting more and more convoluted and nonsensical by the post to cover up your original statement which was an implicit comparison of two totally different situations. No coherence at all. You are getting confused. Read, understand and analyze your original post. You still don't understand your original post. Haha!

Ang galing mo Sir sobrang talino... Alam mo pa sa nagsabi... :D

Bat ko i-analyze ang simpleng statement napakabasic lang and alam ko ang ibig sabihin kasi ako nga nagsabi diba?

Baka sa sobrang talino mo di mo pa magets, AKO NAGPOST AND NAGISIP NUN?

Parang Golden State and Spurs lang ngayun... So much for a regular season game din... [Analyze mo din ito, baka may implicit and inapproriate comparison ulit and lame excuse]

Basic lang parang si Tim Duncan.[For analysis din]

    Inappropriate Intelligence! hahahaha

Eto post ko ulit baka kulang pa analysis mo... hehehe

So much for a regular season game... remember when Miami Heat went 0-4 against the Brooklyn Nets in the regular season? What happened when they met in the Playoffs though?"

    ------Bottom-----

  15. Huh? You didn't even understand your own post. Again, you implicitly compared the Cavs and the Ws to the Heat and the Nets. You also implicitly admitted that your original post didn't make any sense. Hahaha! What? Are you butthurt that I exposed your implicit comparison and can't accept that I exposed you? Puro ka palusot. The next time you post, make sure you understand what you are posting. It is apparent that you have no inkling on what you're posting about.

Exposed? Are you stupid or what? I never meant it that way. You know why? cause i don't even think they'll match up this season again.

You are just complicating a simple statement.

Thinking about it now, if I meant my statement the way you are insisting, that the even if the Cavs went 0-2 in the Regular Season, that they can still beat GSW in the playoffs this season.

How is my comparison on Brooklyn and Miami Inapproriate?

The Heat Lost for on that 4, not just 2.

Just because the Dubs already beat the Cavs in the Finals that it can't be compared? Anong relate? This is a totally different season.

Remember the Spurs? They Lost in the Finals to the Heat right just to dominate them in the finals the next year...

O ayan baka sabihin mo implicitly admitting yan, i never meant that way still...

I am just exposing that you arrogantly corrected something you never fully undertood.

That your "Inappropriate Comparison" statement is what is inappropriate here.

And instead of accepting the reality of my statement, you insist that i don't understand my post insist of accepting the fact that you just over complicated it.

Alam mo ang problema alam mo pa sa nagsabi... Yun ang di ko magets.

I just explained to you that I simply meant it that way ang dami mo na nasabi.

Instead of just, "Okay, i thought that's what you meant Sir" and dating mo is "No, that is how I understood your statement, you should now accept the fact that you meant it that way..."

Attitude na yan Sir pacheck mo...

Pasensya na di ko talaga kino-compare yun nung pinost ko eh, kahit anong pilit mo, not even implicitly.

    Good Morning...
