Even if mom can be makulit ... she has no one. Just like yourself. So, be a better daughter ... do more/what you can for her.

Yes, you're not getting paid ... she didnt either when she took care of you when you were younger & right after your accident (bathe-ing you coz you couldnt yourself then).

I'm okay with reboots, but most of the time they tend to disappoint. One exception though is my favorite TV series, Doctor Who. It started 1963 and went off the air in 1989. They tried to revive it with a movie, but it wasn't enough to propel it back to its iconic status. Come 2005, they did it correctly as a TV series and it is running until now. It works because the main character can regenerate into a completely different person with a different personality but with the same goal.

 

Another one that's enjoyable for me is Will & Grace and Gilmore Girls. The Veronica Mars movie, i'm not sure if one can consider that a reboot or merely a continuation story for the fans. A sort of closure movie.

 

I recently saw a trailer of the Meteor Garden reboot and I'm not a fan. The Charmed reboot doesn't look promising too. Sometimes they try to hard to make it 'unique' that it becomes an epic fail.

Havent seen one episode of Doctor Who, yet ... may look into it.

Will & Grace ... there were some hit & miss episodes, though. Loved the one where Grace & Karen were trapped in the shower ... Sad, that there werent enough Gilmore Girls episodes ...

Veronica Mars, cant seem to recall to have seen a single episode ... will possibly check on them.

My niece was/still is a Korean telenovela/K-Pop fan ... have no idea what her take on the reboot would be for Meteor Garden.

Yup, the Charmed reboot looks WEIRD ...

If it's STILL Tom Cruise ... or any1 new who looks just as HOT (as he did then), looks promising.

Earlier ... Sat afternoon movie.

It pays to KNOW what you're getting into ... esp. with MARRIED men.

Cartoon Network will remake Thundercats and named it Thundercats Roar. At first glance, it looks like Steven Universe in cat suits. Not very optimistic, after the mess they made with Teen Titans Go and Powerpuff Girls.

I dont "follow" the cartoons now ... except for the animated movies. Just looks WEIRD to me somehow ...

Personally, it depends if they make it GOOD for the reboot/revival ...

 

Most I have seen so far ... were so-so in terms of quality or the characters werent what you expected.

Was pleasantly surprised ... finally got the "gift" that I was told about last week. It was an envelop from an organizer we regularly support ... again, they gave me Bench GCs! This time 2K worth ...

Still had 1K worth from before ... so, decided to check out their outlet in Galleria. Perfect timing ... most of the stores were on SALE (coz it is end of the month & it'll be "payday weekend"). Was able to find a nice dark pair of denims & black slacks ... BOTH were on "special offer" at:
