So ang natatanim sa mga Tao ay un mas-maraming masasamang ugali. Miski sa Pagregulate ng Panonood. Sa ibang bansa kapag PG13 or any rating mas-malaking percentage ng sumusunod sa Rating. Dito kahit drama na walang kwenta pinapanood ng maliliit na bata kasama ng magulang. Kaya bata palang natututo na manligaw at lumandi ng mga elementary students. Sa balita naman mas-marami ang negatibo sa government, bihira ka makarinig ng Accomplishment, so ang tao pabagsak ang tiwala sa gobyerno, imbes na tumaas ang tiwala. (Kahit tiwali ang opisyal, kung maganda rating nya at nagpapakitang tao sya na marami sya natatapos na projects, masmarami natatapos na projects un kasya sa hindi corrupt) Meron mga bansa, Ok lang sa kanila na Corrupt ang Officials, basta nakikita ng mga tao na umuunlad ang pamumuhay nila at ang bansa nila ok lang un. In North Korea, they have children shows/ cartoons wherein North Koreans are good, and americans are the bad guys. so children grow up knowing and believing that Americans are Evil.

Media plays a great role, because people, learn, and adapt slowly to thing they are seeing. Media can Insinuate ideas into people at a very large scale, Media can even create mass Panic if they deem so in News.

I would propose a Law to ban Cigarettes and High Percentage Alcohol drinks.

Because it contradicts other Laws and is clearly not healthy. There is a Law that no one is allowed to k*ll, is a criminal act. I do not know why is the Tabacco Farmers Jobs more important that the Health of those who consume Cigarettes, specially the 2nd hand smokers like babies, children, etc... They are proposing a bill to take care of Lung Cancer and other Health Bill... Its like dealing with the problem backwards, where in they should be creating a LAW to stop the root cause of the problem. You are not allowed to k*ll, you are not allowed to do Drugs/Narcotics like shabu or cocaine, but you can definitely intake cigarettes which contain cyanide which is a Poison. Its simply ironic. Its like you are not allowed to k*ll someone this fast, but you can k*ll everyone in your family and co-workers slowly. Its like giving someone a medicine (which contain poison) everyday, and letting that person slowly die.

When Ur Life is Crashing, What would you do?

I would do my best to hang on or do everything with my limited power to not crash or to slowly go back up if possible. But in the event I fell and crash down hard because I was not in any capacity to stop my fall, I would do my best to stand back up even if it means begging other people, friends, family to help me get back up.

Nasa panahon at lugar at kasaysayan din ang sagot. Para sa mga taong lumaki at natira sa sobrang init na lugar, unti unti silang umiitim, at hanggang nag-adapt na un genes ng anak.. ng anak.. ng anak nila... kaya meron maiitim ang balat. Meron din naman mapuputi un karamihan lumaki sa Malalamig na parte ng mundo, sa mga lugar naman tulad ng Middle east kahit mainit may mga panahon parin na extreme ang lamig so hindi maiitim ang tao meron din mamulamula. At nagkaroon narin ng inter racial at marriage, kaya nagkahalo halo na ang kulay ng tao. It all depended on where and when are the people in history at kung gaano katagal nanirahan ang lahi nila sa lugar na iyon. It would take many many generations for this to have happen. Its the same din sa Height at built ng tao, it depends sa location climate and native food sa bansa kung saan nanirahan ng matagal ang isang lahi.

I respect all Atheists, Agnostics and Believers of God, because I for one believe in God.

One of the reason I believe is because of my Life and my consciousness, as well as being able to convey my consciousness through Language and Speech which I believe came from an origin which cannot be explained how we are alive and how we think. And that none of us can create Life out of nothing.

Everyone is entitled to their own Belief.

I understand what Alvin.Teng is saying, its like having Atheists practice Marriage, its like saying that you do not believe in God yet you practice a form of ritual/tradition where in it was ideally from God. Its like saying you believe that Cigarettes is can k*ll you, and you are saying You don't want to die, yet you still smoke. That is what I'm getting.

I also agree with spanner_works, words are just words, we can even create our own words or use a word and make up our own meaning, it might mean differently to you than the other person. Anyone can use a nick or even say who they say they are.

What strikes me on Alvin.Teng's note, is the Practice and observance of a ritual or tradition or anything pertaining to God. What i'm point at is, even if you are born a Filipino, can you call yourself a Filipino even if you do not believe and practice being a Filipino, to the point you are mocking Filipinos? Because I believe if you are a Terrorist or you are a bad citizen, you can be expelled or declared persona non grata. The ultimate point is, i've met couples, individuals, and others who say they are Atheists or Agnostics yet they observe or practice ceremonies, rituals or traditions which are of or related or originated from Religions.

What I believe is that if We truly are believe in something, and say it is so, we should not just get on whats hip or whats hop, we should stick to it and not practice what we do not believe. Like for me I do Believe in God, but I do not celebrate Dec. 25 as Christ's Birth, so I do not celebrate Christmas. Because I've even seen other Atheists Celebrate Christmas, its ironic in my opinion.

@Alvin.Teng, while I support your point of view, I would also suggest to tone it down, as the Moderator's advice. It would really be nice to discuss without personal attacks or sarcasms. Lets have a healthy and friendly discussion and not get on others nerves. I should know, I am one of the parties involved in having the other thread being locked and hide. heheheheh.

My Personal Opinion:

1. The Thread Title "Bible vs Science" is not a good Title, its like saying that Bible is against Science. In fact there are many scientific knowledge that was mentioned in the Bible way before it was discovered by Scientists.

Ex.

- Isa. 40:22 - they already mentioned about the "Circle of the Earth" yet many scientists believe the Earth was Flat. The Author of the Book Isaiah was written about 8th Century BC, and was more than 400 Years earlier than Aristotle's and a thousand years before Columbus.

2. For those who would say that there are many contradictions in the Bible such as:

- Creation

- Exodus

- Etc..

Other So Called bible Prophets/Pastors just don't know how to read or interpret the Bible. Just Like the Creation in Genesis, other scientists do not agree that it took only 6 days. I would agree with the scientists that the Universe is at least 13.8 Billion years old or more. I also agree with the Bible, why? because if you read the Bible the Morning and Night have not yet been created so who's day was it being mentioned? the Days was from God's point of View; Just like Earth is calculated as 24 hours per Day, while Venus on the Other hand is 5,832 hours per Day; So the a Day is different on many perspectives.

Another is the Exodus, Scientists/Historians have already made some significant findings about this, though still inconclusive,

3. I do not claim that all things mentioned in the Bible are 100% True or accurate, remember, the Bible was written way back before, so depending on the knowledge of the author as well as the current rate of understanding of the People the book was written for, they wrote the Bible based on those perspectives. Its like writing a Grade 6 Book, you don't put College Math on a Grade 1 Math book, since at that time Grade 6 was already hard to understand; So the writers of the Bible wrote what was easier to understand on that point in time. Just like before, people do not understand Eclipse so writers may interpret it in a different manner that how we interpret eclipse now.

4. Bible and Science are the same, the same where in my point of view? Others may see and list the contradictions in the Bible, but to my knowledge there are more contradictions in Science that it is in the Bible, because there are more Theories as well as contradicting Theories out there than the contradictions in the Bible. Others may call it "Contradictions" but I call it theories, and even though Bible has many Theories/Contradictions I believe there will come a time that it will make sense, just like what Historians discovered in Exodus. And just like in Science, there are a mountain of theories out there, and surely enough 100 year or 1000 years from now, many of those will be proven, disputed and even explained why their first assumption was written in that manner, while current proofs say otherwise.

I write this for those who believe in both the Bible and Science. Not for those who want to have Bible and Science battle it out, because for me, its like having to say History vs Math or History vs Science. The Bible is part of History, there are things written in history books way before, that are not true, as well as unproven, yet they do not make History versus Science.

So whether you believe on what I say or not, it is up to you guys, just sharing my thoughts about the Topic.

I think if I may make an opinion, one primary cause of traffic here in Metro Manila, is that all Business and Organizations are centered here. If only the Government to enrich other provinces like Cebu, Davao, Batangas, Albay, Angeles, Olongapo and other po Cities with potential to balance the massive amount of people who want to live and work here. If that happens, gagaan ang traffic sa Metro Manila.
