may two ways akong naisip na baka mag work.

1. try to adjust the game for compatibility mode for xp sp2. right click the short cut and hit properties. check the compatibility tab.

2. try to install xp mode. though ang requirement nya dapat ung hardware mo ready for virtualization.

question sir, bakit ginamit nyo ung openSuSe para sa mga server side nyo? I believe meron namang SuSe Enterprise 10 sp2 na pwede namang gamitin for free tapos if your company decided to buy the product activate lang ung support. Also ung update ng Ent SuSe 10, pwede i point sa opensuse. I already tried sa office namin and it works like a charm.

Sir, how can i add DLL manually via wine? may software kasi ung company namin na ayaw gumana dahil ung DLL eh hindi makita ng wine. infragistics na DLL ung hindi makita to be exact since sa dotnet gawa ung Software. Wala kasi akong makitang guide sa net. hope you could enlighten me.

I suggest install mo nalang ung pinaka malapit na driver version for ur printers. Also try using cup web administration.

They usually recommend kung anong driver tatakbo ung printer.

Help: Device Manager Non-existent

 

The first time I installed a new logitech webcam it worked. Kya lang when I did some restore routine after some technical issues keep popping out, the re-install of the webcam or any driver for that matter cannot be successfully done anymore. When I try looking at the Device Manager, it is empty as if all the files were deleted. What should I do? Kahit anong gawin ko di na ma-install.

 

Does this has something to do with the fact na my MS Office trial period is expired already. I'm afraid wala na ako sa Pinas to buy some activation key for my Office Student Teacher edition. Kaya I dont have any other choice but to buy the code here in the US.

 

If I have to re-install, how do i do that safely?

If you did a system restoration na sakop hanggang installation period of the webcam, there might be a chance na ang driver mo sa webcam will be affected. but u could revert that changes becoz it will ask you if you want to restore it again to its previous state.

Pero kung ayaw na, try this step baka gumana...

1.) If your device is usb connected, try to remove the hardware then after a while kabit mo ulit.

(Usually mag dedetect ung computer na prompt you to take action)

2.) sa hardware wizard, try to install the driver manually... then path mo sa CD rom wer your driver's located.

(kung sa tingin mo nawala ung driver ng cam mo)

3.) try removing or delete the folder where the previous driver is located, if you know the path.

(proceed with extreme pre-cautions)

With regards sa MS office mo, sa tingin ko wala naman dun ung problema kaya nagloko ung cam...

the problem is your cam not your MS office. Thats a different scenario.

Also try reading XP training kit, and look for system restoration to further understand your current situation.

here's a problem,

 

I just bought 3 enclosures for work, 2.5" and 3 Seagate 80G HDDs, brand new,

 

attached it, plugged it in, hardware detected but i DON'T SEE IT IN "MY COMPUTER"...

 

as in, walang icon... walang F drive nothing...

 

tried it on my laptop too, wala,

 

plugged BOTH USBs, wala din...

 

Device manager sees it naman,

 

Impossible naman na all three, sira, diba...

 

i'm sure i'm overlooking something,

by the way, I bought them in hong kong, so i can't very well ask the vendor at this point...

Check the disk management console.

import foreign disk and choose initialize.

dont exactly know wats the exact reason, but as far as i know, ung mga process na ginagawa sa computer are being stored first sa memory, and sometimes being temporary written at ur harddisk (pagefile or paging) for easy processing time and stuffs.

kapag hindi nadump ito, usually error occured.

already posted some troubleshooting guide in this kind of situation.

pero kung nag-upgrade ka, resetting the computer will do.

Pag nag-IPCONFIG ako may IP address pero walang DNS Gateway na lumalabas. Tried to renew pero ayaw na.

Anong IP address and lumalabas??? nag start ba sa 169.x.y.z ?

Kung 192.x.y.z ung IP na binibigay, try to config the DNS manually nalang pointing to the Router or DNS server ng provider mo.

Kung 169.x.y.z nag start, papuntahin mo na ung technician ng ISP coz baka ang may problema ung router...

Try to ask some other IT guy here, baka may iba silang point of view.

For me, medyo payat pa ung budget mo. Ipunin mo muna ung money mo until you reach atleast 20T para naman makapili ka ng magandang quality na hardware.

Mas maganda din cgro buy a mboard dat support dual processor. Hindi kasi advisable yung masyadong mabilis na processor speed coz mabilis uminit. Since most OS nowadays support dual processor, mas wise ito for me.Kahit 2Ghz lang ung speed times it by 2, mas super!!! :boo: :thumbsupsmiley:

Paano ba malalaman kung sira na yung router, I'm using Linksys BEFSR41 ver 3, bought the unit 1 year and 8 mos ago brand new from PC express, using meridian telekoms aka. smartbro, I have reinstalled the setup wizard then updated the firmware, if directly nakakonek ang internet sa single pc at nag piping ako sa meridian walang request time out at destination unreachable in short ok, without using the router, pero kapag kinabit ko na sa router may putol na sa ibang pc? Posible kaya na mabagal lang ang connection knowing this amazing smart ISP, kasi lately ko lang naeexperience ito about 3 weeks ago ganun nangyayari then after 1 week ok na uli tapos ngayon paputol putol na naman.

 

another question nakaobtain automatic naman ang LAN config ko and Dynamic IP ang meridian. Bakit nde na nakikita nang ibang computer sa network ang ibang pc while before nakikita naman, sa Lan games naman nagkokonek like DOTA, counterstrike, Rakion, and etc, using Win Xp Sp1. Please advice

Nangyari ba ito after mong update yung firmware.... kung may back-up ka ng dating firmware, balik mo nalang sa dating version.

Kung wala na, Try to check yung scope ng DHCP mo... baka naging maliit ung range nya after the upgrade of firmware.

Sa intermittent connection, bka may conflict sa connection sa switch mo or sa provider.

Try to double check. Use the Ping command and Tracert.

After reformatting my PC di na ko makaconnect sa DSL ko. I got ERROR 678 and and sabi ng pc technician sa ISP ko daw to. Ang sabi naman ng PLDT sa OS daw to. We've tried connecting my modem to a laptop and it worked. Nag IP config na kmi pero it seems ayaw mag retrieve nd DNS Gateway yung PC. FYI: Im using XP SP1. Sabi kasi ng friend ko bakadahil sa SP 2 na pinalit namin kaya binalik ko sa SP 1 pero to no avail pa rin. Ano na nangyayari sa PC ko??? Can somebody help me please!!!!!

By the way, kaya ako nag reformat ng PC kasi nasira hard disk ko while I was burning mp3 (i dunno kung may kinalaman to).

Try to configure your TCP/IP to obtain IP automatically. and sa DNS side, type the IP address of the Router (IP ng Modem or ng provider mo).

After this... go to cmd prompt and try the ping test.

and open kana ng browser

Usually does the trick...

kung wala pa din.. Try to notice kung APIPA ba ung IP mo or nagbigay na ng IP ung Modem ng ISP mo....

dito mo usually malalaman kung naka configure ng maayos ung router at ung PC mo

Hope tama itong pinag sasabi ko.. pero wala namang mawawala kung susubukan..
