I just checked his career stats during the year he had his first major injury pang MVP yung stats nya(19 ppg and 11 rpg). Sa totoo lang kundi lang talaga nag step up si Scottie sya ang Finals MVP in last years Commisioners cup.

Just my personal opinion but I don't intend to argue. Once upon a time he was the better and more agile player than JMF. Nag Asian Games na pala sya nung 2010.Pero the following year imbes na magtuloy tuloy yung programa sa kanya nag Ateneo nalang(they were targeting 4-peat then). Si Junemar, hilaw pa nag pro nung 2012 pero na mentor sya ni Lakay on top of that natuto din kay Blatche during the World cup, Greg hinog na nung time na yun kaso habol nila maka 5-peat kaya nagpabulok muna sa amateurs. I have nothing against Ateneo pero special players di pwedeng iburo sa mababang level ng laro, parang Adducul na nag overstaying naman sa MBA. Buti nalang they are not committing the same mistake on Kai Sotto.

  2. When Ninoy was assassinated vast majority of Filipinos assumed it was Marcos.

Years later, analysts say that Marcos would not want Ninoy dead under his watch. It would be too politically damaging to Marcos if any harm falls on Ninoy.

There are stories circulating from Malacanang insiders that Marcos went into furious rage upon hearing the news of Ninoy's murder and was even described throwing an ashtray towards Imelda in a fit of anger, suggesting that Marcos thought his wife was behind Ninoy's death.

Further analysis from political experts show that Imelda does not have enough power, resources, nor the stomach to have Ninoy killed. Even the prosecution under Cory Aquino's term cannot prove in court any link of Ninoy's assassins to either Marcos or Imelda.

New theories emerge that it is the Cojuangco clan who will benefit most from Ninoy's death. They have the resources to do it and if they do so, they can divert the blame to Marcos.

I also don't think its FM as he was reportedly very ill during the time. Besides isn't it before Ninoy's assassination he was asked who would be his worthy and most prepared successor and Marcos mentioned it was Ninoy.

I just have a question...other than being Marcos administrations biggest critic, what were Ninoy's achievements and worthy projects that would have made him a good President?

  3. Dapat cguro sinama nalang sa trade with Northport Slaughters for Tautuaa, grabe talaga ang binagsak ng laro ni Greg nitong season na ito. Biglang ganda nilalaro ni Ferrer after the trade, kunsabagay sa Ginebra kasi hindi sya top five option sa offense di katulad sa Northport. Pati si Jervy nagagamit na ulet.

  4. Sana si Lebron nalang for Davis. Ingram has started to play at an all-star level during the last 2 months of the season nanghihinayang din ako so batang yun. Kinuha pa nila si Kidd as assistant coach to mentor Lonzo tapos I-trade din naman pala nila. Ano na ba contract status ni Zubac sa Clippers? If he will be available in the market then they should sign him to pair with AD for the frontline.

Hope they will be contenders again.

  5. Chief, pardon me for being obtuse. Is remy martin a code name for a player?

He's a US NCAA division 1 player. A regular starter like Danny S and Gabe during their collegiate days unlike Japeth, Kobe Paras, Troy Rike and among other Fil-AMS as well who languished in the bench during their time in the US collegiate scene. It remains to be seen though if he's an NBA prospect like Clarkson but who knows we really don't know.

  6. Sadly...if only, the succeeding administrations took a serious look at the good plans of FM. Dami din kasi pakilamero wala naman naitutulong:

MWSS chief regulator Patrick Ty said the government and water service concessionaires already forecasted water supply problem and have formulated solutions, which have been delayed.

"It's our fault. It's the government because the Kaliwa Dam, Laiban Dam has been proposed since the Marcos time and due to lot of oppositions and accommodations for the IPs, from the informal settlers, from this leftist group, church group, these projects keep on getting moved," Ty told ANC's "Headstart" Thursday morning.

  7. Olats...for me after this season Walton should go. Maganda na ang lineup nila kung tutuusin, their young players just needs more polishing by next season sana they are ready to contend for the championship. A look at their lineup:

Center - McGee and Chandler both have championship rings. Zubac played well on his rookie year, even Metta World Peace indicated back then he will be a top 5 Center in a couple of seasons. But last season Walton benched him which I don't know why.. But when he got the playing time he needs and he was delivering, they let him go. Wagner - a center who can shoot the 3.

PF - Kuzma, no question on his potiential. Beasley - when LBJ got hurt he got some playing time and had his contribution

Small Forward - Lebron, no questions asked. Ingram - for the past 10 to 15 games he has started to play at an All-star level too bad their losing

Shooting guard - they don't have an all-star but they've got plenty of shooters. Hart - very hardworking. Stephenson, KCP and Bullock can shoot those outside shots. They gave up on Mikhailuk but Bullock is more seasoned at this time so somehow its an upgrade.

Point guard - solid ang rotation between rondo and Ball. nagkaka-injury nga lang. they don't have 3rd PG but Lebron and even Ingram is able to do this.

Still crossing my fingers but lets be honest, its a long shot to make the playoffs. Better luck next season.

  8. Rebounding and transition play ng Korea tayo nadale, wala silang magawa kay Ratcliffe. I can't help but just imagine if only a player like a Greg Slaughter is with the team, he was able to contain the imports last conference. Another missed oppurtunity!

  9. Pero mas magaling naman di hamak si JB..

Agree on this. Nagtataka nga ako why others compare him to Chambers. Though they have the same built but JBL is more of a small forward that can play multiple positions while chambers is purely a post-up power forward.

  10. Sayang talaga yung Asian Games, we have better chances pa naman in getting the Gold here than in FIBA since walang Australia at NZ. I was hoping to finally see Greg and Junmar play at the same time for team PH kaso pinangunahan nanaman ng politika and self-interest.
