After losing twice in the NBA Finals to the Chicago Bulls, it now appears former Jazzman Karl Malone could become a temporary Bull -- a Red Bull, that is.

The Red Bull team of the Philippine Basketball Association is said to be actually negotiating to bring the "Mailman" in as its allowed import player for the PBA Fiesta Cup tournament that begins March 30, according to the Manila Bulletin. -- Deseret Morning News

This move is apparently not a publicity stunt because Tony Chua, Red Bull's representative said yesterday that negotiations are currently underway to lure Malone who retired as one of the NBA's 50 Greatest Players.

AFAIK the Hulkbuster armor and "Thorbuster" armor are the only armors designed specifically to counter the aforementioned superhumans. The Hulkbuster is familiar to most but the Thorbuster is relatively more obscure. Its based on the Destroyer armor of Odin himself, powered by some sort of Mystical Crystal.

Ive read in a Superman comic compilation ages ago, When Supes visited the shrunken bottled Kryptonian City of Kandor (inside the Fortress of Solitude), A shrunken Kal-El and Jimmy Olsen would don masks & costumes, prance around the city as caped crimefighters, inspired by Batman & Robin... hehe

Supes and Olsen would visit Kandor as the powerless heroes Nightwing and Flamebird, inspired of course by Batman and Robin. At one time there was a team-up between the two duos which apparently gave Robin (Dick Grayson) the inspiration to adapt the Nightwing name for himself later on. This all happened pre-crisis of course, back in the sixties, dont know if it was ever retconned post crisis.

i think wolvie and spidey are just the most marketable characters in the Marvel U. Marvel will ride their asses to the bank as much as they can. it's business. personally, i think spidey and wolvie give the new avengers title a boost.

Apparently not. Since it was revealed that there was a skrull in their team (New Avengers) working right under their noses. Wolverine and Spiderman seemed to have no idea.

Unless they're skrulls too, since that would explain why they're featured in almost all of Marvels titles.

You might as well include Karate Kid on the list. The dude schooled Batman recently. And Batman even admitted the guy is much more skilled than what Superman classified him (Karate Kid) into.

Wasnt it the other way around? Wasnt Batman saying that Clark ranked him lower than Karate Kid and that he liked being under-ranked? I could be wrong though.

If it was an impromptu fair fight, MAYBE Daredevil would take it. But given enough time to prepare, lets say a day or two, Bats would know DD strengths and weaknesses inside and out. Plus he would DEFINITELY cheat so he would win hands down.

If the store 26k ang TX1, malamang nasa 15K to 17K lang yan sa Hidalgo.

She wants a slim camera for sure, something she can tuck in her bag so lithium batteries are more likely. Automatic lang siguro since she doesnt like to fiddle with the settings and just shoot pictures. Ako naman basta good optical zoom and decent megapixels ok na. We both want something that can shoot good videos.

Kung may defect ang item, dun mo lang pwedeng dalhin and they will replace it agad.

 

Don't worry about the quality, many well-known professional photographers buy at hidalgo (I have seen them) and also amateurs like me buy cameras and camcorders there.

Ok thanks for the info I live outside Metro Manila so I was kinda hoping that I would be able to bring it somewhere nearer but as long as the Hidalgo stores honor their store warranty then thats not a problem. The savings far outweigh the distance factor. :thumbsupsmiley:

By the way, do the shops in Hidalgo offer warranties honored in authorized service centers or are they just store warranties?

My wife was thinking of getting a camcorder but after some thought she decided that a digital camera would be a better option. We are now looking for a camera that could take good videos, has decent zoom capabilities, definitely point and shoot and as small as possible. One option I casually came accross is the Canon Powershot TX1. Searched for it on the net and found the reviews to be so-so, although it does meet most of our requirements. The negative feedback is mostly due to its awkward vertical position and the placement of the buttons. I finally saw it today and its so small! It looks great but i kinda see what the negative reviews meant. It currently retails at around 26k plus in the malls, so that would mean it would probably cost around the low 20's in Hidalgo. I'm hoping you could weigh in some opinions about this camera or maybe suggest some alternatives with similar features.

IMHO Cena doesn't fit the DX gimmick. I agree that maybe a rival faction for him would be better. Si Cena naman doesn't need a new gimmick but instead should actually tone done a bit and improve, drastically his mat skill. I can't put my finger on it but there is really something weird about the way he moves in the ring. It's comparable to watching a guy without any rhythm dance or something like that.

On another note. If and when Trips and Shawn finally form DX. How long do you think that would last? Medyo may edad na rin itong dalawa eh. I really don't see them in the final days of their career doing crotch chops and stuff like this

Thanks for the input. Yeah i guess joining SD and Raw is not that feasible although i just can't help but remember the time when WWE superstars would be on both shows. Those were really good times. I just wish WWE creative would do something to improve the quality of both shows especially SD. I am also worried that getting new talent like those mentioned by acidboy might not help either since a lot of the current superstars are being underused anyway, Benoit, the cruiserweights, a true tag-team division are some of the examples of talent being misused or not being used at all. And instead we get crap like the Bogeyman, Khali and other "short term" gimmicks, not to mention the lame attempts at comedy sketches. While i welcome the return of ECW (sana hindi watered down), the shipping of talent to that show will further diminish the rosters of Raw and especially SD.

Thats enough ranting for now. I'm still hoping for the best. Keep posting guys.

Hindi ba pwede na consolidate na lang ang rosters ng Raw and Smackdown into one? Sobrang nipis na kasi ng SD lineup, i hardly watch anymore. Even with Batista returning, wala masyadong pwedeng gawin na rival nya. Mas ok siguro i merge na lang yung dalawa tapos ECW ang ipalit sa timeslot ng SD. What do you think?
