    kahit siguro lumipat si Jawo sa Air21, solid pa rin ang BGK... kasi nun nawala si Jawo, akala ng marami, mawawalan na ng fanbase ang BGK but they're wrong... mas dumami pa yata ang fanbase ng Ginebra ngayon kesa dati.. :D

    Major changes in E-Heads show

     

    The Eraserheads’ reunion concert will go on as scheduled on Saturday, Aug. 30, at the Bonifacio Global City Open Field. But there are major changes. It was originally planned to be a free concert, with the public requested only to bring empty packs of Marlboro, until anti-smoking groups howled in protest. Tickets will now be sold.

     

    Here’s the formal announcement from Radiohead Media Solutions, Inc. which has taken over from Philip Morris (makers of Marlboro) as promoter:

     

    Radiohead Media Solutions, Inc. announces the acquisition of the concert rights to the much-awaited one-night-only Eraserheads reunion this coming Saturday, Aug. 30. The Reunion is to be slated at the Bonifacio Global City Open Field. Tickets are priced at P800 and P1,300. For ticket reservation, call TicketWorld at 891-9999 or log on to www.ticketworld.com.ph and www.radiohead.ph.

     

    And here’s Philip Morris’ official statement (e-mailed to Funfare by Dave Gomez, Public Affairs and Communications Manager of Philip Morris Philippines Manufacturing, Inc.):

     

    Philip Morris Philippines Manufacturing Inc., confirms that Radiohead Media Solutions Inc. has agreed to take over as promoter of the Eraserheads reunion concert planned for 30 August 2008. We made the decision to withdraw as promoter and will have no involvement at all in this reunion concert. We wish the Eraserheads and Radiohead Media Solutions Inc. all the best.

     

    Funfare learned that the original Eraserheads members — Ely Buendia, Raimund Marasigan, Marcus Adoro and Buddy Zabala — have been rehearsing behind closed doors. According to earlier reports, each of them would be paid P2 million each. Will the new promoters agree

    Ginebra dapat ang may republic dahil sa dami ng fans at barangay lang sa air21 dahil parang isang maliit na barangay lang ang bilang ng mga fans nila but in this case mas madaming tao sa "Barangay" kesa sa "republic" hehe..

    para nga na Sitio o Purok lang sila eh.. :D

    naisip ko lang..parang Rocky Balboa ang BGK...

     

    sa iilang fans, hindi na magmamatter ang panalo or talo this wednesday (though shmpre mas ok parin manalo), point ko is that, with a depleted lineup, tpos nananalo pa ng games sa finals, at umabot pa ng game 7. It says a lot kung anong klaseng team ang team natin. Win or lose sana magchant ang mga tao ng ginebra! ginebra! This team already made us proud....bow.

    actually, its not just that... with the way the team started the conference, they already counted the team out... but look where is our team now...
