About Me
Dear Visitor:
If you are viewing this right now it can only mean two things. First, I viewed your profile and now you want to view mine. Second, I have posted something which may have interested you, one way or another. And while you're here I might as well tell you something about myself so as not to waste your time.
By modern standards I am not what many would consider a hunk or a headturner. I sometimes wish I were, and I just have to admit that I may never give every woman wet dreams. Neither am I considered ugly. If anything, I am one of those people who pass by unnoticed before you can judge if I'm ugly or handsome. So effectively do I play turtle and tone down my aura that I'd make a good spy--except that my eyes betray me.
My eyes, so people have told me, look partly lachrymose and partly alert; partly regretful and partly curious as that of a child. These are the eyes that will furtively ogle a woman and then decide to look away, thinking, "What makes you think you can make a woman look at you by sheer willpower?" These are the eyes that like to look at things, from sceneries to people, from images to letters, and much more besides. I am a curious, inquiring man, for good and bad.
If we were still in the Inquisition period, my name, Christian, may inspire purists to burn me at the stakes, given the experiences I've had and the sins I've committed. Nah, I don't think God would personally take the time to punish or reward me. That's why He created karma in the first place--so that people get what they deserve without His supervision. Then, upon seeing the advantages, He authorized his angels and demons to do all the rewarding and punishing. I knew He invented outsourcing! That's why I just let Him do His job while I do mine, which is to overcome whatever obstacles that come my way and try, however hard, to become a better person each day.
I am also--but why bother? I know you have better things to do than read my About Me page. Thanks for visiting, though.
