ride kwento .. share ko lang..

1st Saturday of March, it was a hot Saturday afternoon ride going to Las Casas Bataan to meet the family for an overnight stay.. they went ahead in the morning coz i have a finals exam presentation sa school.

I was at NLEX going between 80kph to 100kph using my Royal Enfield Bullet Trials 500, then there's this orange Toyota Hilux Pickup napansin ko sinasabayan lang ako, i was in the middle lane tapos na sa overtaking lane sya, siguro it was a good 5 kilometers na sinabayan nya ako, then after that nag bukas ng bintana, took a picture of me (id like to think its me hehehe) or maybe the bike, then signaled a thumbs up, ilang meters pa i waved then inunahan ko na

    feeling action start hehehehe!

Buti kaya mo tiisin takbong 80-100 sir, sobrang haba pa naman ng NLEX compared sa SLEX. Parang hindi nauubos yung daan e. Haha

    RS always.

anyone can recommend any of these three for first timer?
    Ariblade, PCX160 (abs) or ADV

+1 for the PCX, get the non-abs variant and save yourself some money to buy protective gear. ABS is great to have but not necessary if it’s mostly for city riding.

  3. If you’re looking for a bargain go and buy the outgoing model since the dealers are trying to clear out what’s left of their inventory but IMO, It’s better to wait for the new one. The outgoing model is a good car but the dashboard has too many things going on and is ugly as sin. The new model has a cleaner look to the dash and the center console has also been improved with the addition of an armrest and replacement of the handbrake from a thick-ass lever to a space saving button/switch type.

I'm considering Xpander as our next car. I'll be grateful for your insights.

    @TrueLife_FunLife

On paper it might seem like the most expensive in it’s class but because of all the discounts that you can get from mitsubishi dealers, it actually turns out to be the best value for money in the small MPV segment.

If you are looking for comfort, the expander is the best car in the category.
resale - Avanza but the ride quality is horrible

power - Brv this is most likely the more reliable vehicle overall as well

Any thoughts on Z650RS?  Available na pala in the Philippines since last year, but still is not in the official Kawasaki site.  Had also been thinking of getting its big brother the Z900RS for a long time, but it felt too big and too serious for an occasional rider like me.  Saka gusto ko yung UJM riding position nito kesa sa non-RS version and Ninja.  Thinking of contacting a dealership for a test ride, but would also appreciate some thoughts.

Looks too plain in the available color way, it would have been great if they brought in the green variant. Tank is too small and on the saddle it feels like you’re on a pantra. The engine also lacks refinement, too much vibration, the sound is bad, and lacks power at the top end. For the price, i would go for an XSR700, CB650 or the Trident660.

  6. the catalytic converter ? why so ? how does using a diesel engine oil in a gas engine affect the catalytic converter ? hmmmm. are you takling about diesel fuels or diesel engine oils?

Diesel motor oils use more detergents than Gasoline oils. while these additives are good for the longevity of the engine, they can cause your catalytic converter to malfunction. The 3-way catalytic converters that gasoline engines use are much more sensitive to exhaust particulates and can easily be clogged by particulates from the additives that are in the diesel oils. using diesel oils for gasoline engines will lead to premature cat damage.

Gasoline vehicles have much stricter emissions regulations than diesels which is also why they use more complicated emissions control systems.

  7. please this regard news that i past a way

Allow me to play doubles advocate here for a moment.

For all intensive purposes I think you are wrong.

In an age where false morals are a diamond dozen, true virtues are a blessing in the skies. We often put our false morality on a petal stool like a bunch of pre-Madonnas, but you all seem to be taking something very valuable for granite. So I ask of you to mustard up all the strength you can because it is a doggy dog world out there. Although there is some merit to what you are saying it seems like you have a huge ship on your shoulder. In your argument you seem to throw everything in but the kids Nsync, and even though you are having a feel day with this I am here to bring you back into reality. I have a sick sense when it comes to these types of things. It is almost spooky, because I cannot turn a blonde eye to these glaring flaws in your rhetoric. I have zero taller ants when it comes to people spouting out hate in the name of moral righteousness. You just need to remember what comes around is all around, and when supply and command fails you will be the first to go.

Make my words, when you get down to brass stacks it doesn't take rocket appliances to get two birds stoned at once. It's clear who makes the pants in this relationship, and sometimes you just have to swallow your prize and accept the facts. You might have to come to this conclusion through denial and error but I swear on my mother's mating name that when you put the petal to the medal you will pass with flying carpets like it’s a peach of cake.
