  1. You can try doing the following:

    1. Avoid substances - Alcohol, cigarettes, drugs etc.

    2. Healthy nutrition

    - Limit processed goods.

    - Aim for 35g of fiber mainly from fruits and vegetables

    - Try to have 1.6g of protein per kg of bodyweight

    - Drink plenty of water.

    3. Exercise

    - At least 2x/week resistance training that ideally train the major muscle groups (i.e. a hip hinge pattern, vertical/horizontal push, squats, vertical/horizontal pull).

    - Aim for 150 minutes of cardio a week (typical heart rate to aim for is around 120bpm for most adults OR a pace where you can comfortably hold a conversation with someone)

    4. Social groups - Surround yourself with trustworthy people.

    5. Sleep - Aim for 7-8 hours a day.

The things listed above are already difficult to do, and depression makes it even more difficult especially the more severe the depression is. Even if you do all of the above, there is still no guarantee that you will be free from depression. But there's no doubt it will help.

These are health promoting lifestyle changes you should make (if you care about your health) because it greatly reduces the risk of just about every illness. Take note, I said it reduces the risk of illness (i.e. lower probability), I didn't say it prevents illness.

If all else fails, seek help from a medical professional.

And for believers and non-believers alike, offer your difficulties to God and trust that He is always there for you.

  2. i'm kind of in one right now (no love). well sort of, but i'm not the one that's keeping it a secret. the lady's the one that's married.

funny thing is, she didn't seem fazed at all about meeting up with me again after so long (i used to be her regular a few years back). she wasn't even the least bit worried about getting caught. no "baka may makakita sa akin" or "dapat mabilis lang tayo" or nervous checking of her phone to see if li'l ol' hubby was checking on her. literally no signs whatsoever that would give any indication that she was sneaking around. as the saying goes, she was as cool as a cucumber.

this probably isn't her first merry-go-round. to be fair, even when they became a couple and she supposedly "retired", she still entertained me as a client behind his back. and this went on for about half a year before they got married. so yeah, not really a surprise. and if i didn't know any better, i'd say i'm probably already late to the "party" given her history.

i don't know where this will lead, but i guess that's what makes it exciting.

  3. if you've been in this industry long enough, and you've been down deep in the trenches, you'd know how foolish it is to fall for theras/psps (or a gm for that matter). they are so used to telling lies, it's basically habitual and already a part of who they are. not because they are bad people per se, but because it's done out of necessity to conceal their identity from the gms, and to hide their activities from those close to them. not to mention they've been doing it for a long ass time too.

over the years, i've had a few regulars that have left the industry to get married (to gms of course) in the hopes of living happily ever after. one day, to my surprise one of them responded to my hail mary of a message. she was a few years removed from the industry, but was still surprisingly receptive to my messages. you would think someone that was retired for this long and married would want nothing to do with me or anyone from her past. however, it took basically little to no effort on my part to get her naked again. she still agreed to meet me despite the fact that she was married. and she did this right under her husband's nose! he actually dropped her off at the pick up point. LOL

anyway, after we were done fucking, she then proceeded to talk fondly of her hubby and shared stories of their married life as if we were in a cafe sipping on some coffee. as i suspected, her marriage was not all rainbows and butterflies. when i asked her if she loved him she told me that she did in fact love him. and when i asked why she let me fuck her again (without a condom if i might add) she just stared at me blankly for a few seconds and then muttered "wala lang".

so she marries a gm that promised to provide for her financially and yet, here she is in secret, with another gm that just went full creampie on her. and she has the audacity to tell me with a straight face that she loves her husband? and she even acted like there was nothing wrong with what she was doing. like, c'mon man, really? for real?

the line of reasoning theras/psps have given me when you asked the "hard" questions has always baffled me. just goes to show how fucked up people can be, and how easy it is to lose yourself the deeper you go and the longer you stay in this industry. moral standards basically no longer exist. i would know. i don't have any moral standards either. i lost those standards a long time ago. as a result, i knowingly just fucked someone else's wife and i look forward to fucking her again soon (her idea).

so, if you're reading this and you're thinking about getting serious with a thera/psp, just remember - there is no happily ever after. save yourself the trouble bud. don't get involved with her. i just might be the guy that she's fucking behind your back.

  4. UFC 129: St. Pierre vs Shields Trailer

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WbvpdWpqQw4

Does the UFC know how to promote or what? This video alone gets me excited for that fight, gives me goosebumps! Great job UFC!

totally agree bro. i felt the same way about the GSP vs Koschek II trailer. that for me is still the best ufc trailer (esp. since i'm a GSP fanboy). i hated the song they used but it just sounded like the perfect song when i saw the trailer.

  5. very good observation, i noticed that too. jones is just too much for rua to handle or for anyone on the division.

    UPDATE:

At the UFC 128 post-fight press conference, Dana White proclaimed that Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic, who was knocked out tonight (March 19. 2011) by Brendan Schaub, will no longer be fighting in the UFC.

i think that has a lot more to do with the fact that shogun took a beating than him actually having bad conditioning or cardio as it's more commonly called. funny how that works...but then again, if shogun had better conditioning he might have been able to recover faster after that 1st round a la frankie edgar in his fight against maynard.

i think rampage, machida and evans probably have the best chances of defeating jones. though i will admit, those chances aren't very high. but if i were to put my money on a LHW to defeat jones, it would probably have to be machida. he has excellent TDD and that awkward karate-based striking is a problem for everyone not named shogun. would be an interesting fight that won't be happening anytime soon.

  6. yeah it was sad that shogun actually tapped :( man those knees were just absolutely devastating.

it was funny how jones' demeanor and facial expression just completely changed when rashad came into the cage.

you could really sense he was not happy about the whole thing.
