  1. I was a "beginner" for almost 3years..

     

    been to a lot of gym..the latest was Fitness First. I thought doin this and that will do. Copied a lot of magazine workouts.

     

    Guys at eclipse gave me a turning point.

     

    You must have a goal first before goin to the gym or else you will injure yourself or worst waste money and time.

     

    Balik ako agad guys sa eclipse. Not finished with my personal affairs.

     

    Phase 1 pa lang ang laki na ng improvement ko.

SAYANG U WERE NOT ABLE TO WATCH THE INTERSCHOOL POWERLIFTING COMPETITION HELD LAST SATURDAY IN ROBINSON'S PLACE ERMITA... :( NAKITA MO SANA HOW EXCELLENT PEANUTS DID TO ONE OF THE COMPETITORS THERE, HE WAS LIFTING 450LBS DEADLIFTS...AND HE WAS ONLY TRAINING FOR 6 MONTHS :thumbsupsmiley:

  5. before, i'm one of those guys who are really eager to try on supplements. i tried amno acids. what do i get? pimples, my face and my back.

     

    now it's my 2nd week at eclipse gym. i gained 4lbs already from natural food. i added more egg whites, get used to peanut butter, and having 6 meals per day really helps. i go to the office too. i have my wife preparing all my foods, from beakfast to merienda in the office. i have a better appetite right now and better eating habit. i got myself off from relying on supplements.

     

    i also have this habit of asking big guys in the gym i've been on what supp they take..all i get is "eat big!"

     

    just my experience bros

  6. if u want loads of glutamine, eat tons of cabbage...all-natural.

     

    if u want to burn fat, drink an ocean of green tea...all-natural.

     

    if u want protein, devour lots of tuna, milk, egg whites, lean beef...all-natural.

     

    but then again, if u'r lazy or u'r without money, u take supplements...cheaper option actually.

     

    might as well invest on whey, flaxseed oil, vitamins. aside these, i don't think there are supplements worth their price tags.

     

     

    how about creatine powdered products? worth the bucks ba?

  7. as a general rule, if you are trying to gain weight/muscle, you should consume 1 to 1.5 grams of protein per pound of your bodyweight from all source: real food AND supplements...best time to take ON whey is AFTER workout since you need protein to build and repair damaged muscle tissues plus ON or any other whey is fast and easily digested...ONE egg white is equal to 5 to 7 grams of protein, if i am not mistaken...therefore, you need more than that...how many servings of whey do you take/consume a day?...noah

     

    so sir noah, ok lang kahit rest day inom pa din ako ON's Whey?

     

    safe ba dagdagan ko ng 1-2 egg whites ang daily intake ko na 2 egg whites a day? so it will be 3-4 egg whites plus ON's whey plus yung iba pang meals ko na with proteins na din per day.

  8. ano po ba maganda foods to lower the cholesterol level? and foods to avoid?

     

    gym buff din ako and i take whey protein, factor ba yun?

     

    my family has hypertension history and i just had a blood chem, mattas ang cholesterol ko.
