the arsenal captain is currently sidelined by a neck/back injury and will be out for the rest of the year. pero definitely he will be back to suit up for the gunners next year.

just retired my compaq presario recently...pero linalabas ko pa rin from time to time if my kids are hogging the desktop.best processor to get if you really want to go wireless is intel centrino....built in na yung wireless adapter so di mo na kailangan to buy a seperate wireless adapter if you plan to make a home network..

for gaming and downloads....best choice pa rin ang desktop....twice ako nagpalit ng HD ng laptop..di nakayanan mga downloads ko ng porn dun sa free stuff thread...he he he

England star Wayne Rooney reportedly punched another Premiership footballer for asking if his fiancée was up for a "threesome".

The incident between Rooney and Blackburn's Michael Gray happened at the upmarket Panacea Bar and Restaurant in Manchester on Saturday night.

Hammers reveal takeover interest

West Ham have had "exploratory discussions" about a possible takeover of the club but insist talks are at an early stage.

Kia Joorabchian's company, Media Sport Investment, have been linked with a takeover of the Hammers.

Joorabchian made an investment in Corinthians in December 2004, with Argentinian duo Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano leaving the Sao Paulo side and arriving at Upton Park from the Brazilian club on deadline day.

A statement to the Stock Exchange from West Ham read: "The board confirms that it has had exploratory discussions in relation to a possible bid but these discussions are at a very early stage and there can be no certainty that an offer for West Ham will be forthcoming.

"The board also confirms that there is no contractual link between the signing of the players (Tevez and Mascherano) and the bid discussions."

Hammers romp home

Two second-half goals from Bobby Zamora made it a disappointing return to Upton Park for new Charlton manager Iain Dowie as the Hammers ran out 3-1 winners.

Dowie, who enjoyed two spells at West Ham as a player, saw his side take a 14th-minute lead with a controversial penalty from Darren Bent.

But his hopes of getting off to a winning start were made virtually impossible by the dismissal of debutant left-back Djimi Traore in the 26th minute. Traore, a £2million signing from Liverpool, was booked for a foul on Lee Bowyer in the 23rd minute and shown the red card three minutes later when he prevented the home side from taking a quick free-kick.

The home side's sustained pressure brought them an equaliser in the 51st minute through Zamora. He capitalised on Charlton's failure to cut out a low right-wing cross from Bowyer to poke the ball home at the far post.

West Ham deservedly went in front in the 65th minute, as Zamora hooked the ball against the inside of the left-hand upright and over the line.

Alan Pardew's men completed the scoring in the last seconds of injury time when substitute Carlton Cole finished superbly with his first touch of the ball after replacing Marlon Harewood.

David Beckham has been dropped from Steve McClaren's first England squad.

Wayne Rooney, who is suspended from the first two Euro 2008 qualifiers, has also been left out.
