Rules for myself:

1. Don't allow others to tell you how to live your life. Do things your way.

2. Whatever you do, never be half-heart about it. Give give it your best shot.

3. Self-awareness is key; be objective about yourself. If you're being an SOB, know that you're being an SOB.

4. Always be ready to pay the price.

5. You're responsible for everything you do. Never blame anybody else for s@%t that you get into.

6. Respect yourself. Respect other people. Even if respect can be relative.

7. Never feel sorry for yourself.

8. Never have regrets.
