  1. spent 3 days in panglao. it was a blast. went for scuba diving open water lessons. cost me tons of money but worth it. i am now padi certified. i like alona beach more than the exclusive resorts becuase you will have a change to mingle with the locals. fresh seafoods are readily available on the beach. i loved the dinner by the beach just a few feet from the water. i have the opportunity to try the local massage service. it was so-so compaired to my favorite massage place, but the cost is really cheap. i will post pictures when i return.

  2. Mr bukol:

Hotels: Bohol Tropics, Metro Center Hotel (2500-3000 for a twin room)

Resorts: Bohol Beach Club (4000-5000/night for a twin room), Alona (no idea on the rate), Panglao Island Nature Resort (about 5000 up)

    Pension house: Vest (800-1800)

Go to bohol.ph for more details.

You can finish the day tour in about 7 hours (10am to 5pm). You will need a van (2500-3000). You will cover blood compact, chocolate hills, loboc river cruise, hanging bridge, python and the singing gay guy.

If you're staying in the city, you will have to travel about 30 minutes to Panglao to get to the beaches. Van rental is about 500 per trip. Beach entrance is 350 per person consumable.

You can also visit the Tarsier sanctuary in Corella town (opposite direction of Choc Hills).

Sir, shoud i desire to rent a car, is there a parking spot in Alona Beach?
