  1. what i mean skill wise is the overall aspect of training for a fight. if i may elaborate and quote you sir "for example Brock lesnar is an amateur wrestler and also a good boxer... but now he is a champion.. but still learning on the MMA way of fighting.." you yourself mentioned 2 types of skills that can be used in mma. thats precisely what im saying. mma fighter trains in various skills in order to have a fighting chance when they step in the octagon. it clearly shows mma fighters should be well balanced in terms of fighting styles when they enter the octagon cause you dont know what strategy your opponent will use. whereas, a boxer just learns to box. im not taking away anything from a boxer. he just trains for a single style of fighting which is boxing.

its two diffrent sports, each can co exist.just dont encroach in each others territory. dahil mabababoy ang sport. dont want to see gsp getting kayoed in the boxing ring by pacquiao nor do we want to see pacquiao being grounded and pounded by frankie edgar. thats why i agree 100% when you said the boxer has the higher percentage to win in a boxing ring and a mma fighter has the edge in the octagon. :)

like i mentioned before, its two great sports. lets just appreciate each what it is. :)

tumpak bossing.. pati nga si Dana White, hardcore fan parin ng boxing kahit president ng UFC. sa International scene i think Boxing parin ang no. 1, pero little by little papalapit ang MMA..
