everything you need to know! para masagot na ang lahat ng mga tanong. all are based on my personal experiences in this hotel/motel.

 

Jardin de Rosal Hotel

 

location: Pasig. coming from ESDA, take shaw blvd going to pasig. at the end of shaw blvd, make a left at caltex and Rosal will be on your immediate right, just before Victoria Court.

 

rates: it's been a while, but if things haven't changed, it's 540 for the first 3 hours and 150 per succeeding hour.

they have a 12 hour promo available everyday. check in at 8pm and check out at 8am for only 720 pesos.

they have a morning promo not available on saturday mornings. check in anytime from 7am to 11am and pay the minimum rate for 5 hours. example: 8am - 1pm, 10am - 3pm etc..

 

i've forgotten the rates for jacuzzi rooms as i've only been to those rooms twice.

 

facilities:

 

FREE Wifi

hot and cold shower

spacious rooms

DVD players for rent (200 pesos)

garage

non-garage rooms available (cheaper rates)

jacuzzi rooms available (higher rates, with jacuzzi of course, and with a receiving/sala area with its own TV and CR. 3 floors total if you include the garage.)

 

tips:

 

* once checked in, they will not call you after the first few hours are done unlike some motels. if you just have enough money to spend a certain time there, you can call the operator to check you out after a specific number of hours.

* if checking in at 8pm onwards for at least 5 hours, they will charge you the promo rate of 720. might as well go the distance and check out at 8am to make the most out of the promo.

* check the aircon once you enter the room. some units have problematic airconditioners. it's a hassle to change rooms once everything's settled in your room. (I HOPE THE MANAGEMENT READS THIS)

* some toilet bowls have trouble flushing poop. if this happens, wait for the flush to "recharge" and flush again. i think the bowl almost overflowed once on one of my stays. and one of my stays, i had to borrow a plunger. very embarrassing. (I HOPE THE MANAGEMENT READS THIS)

* food ordered is good for 2 or good for 1 very very hungry person.

* adult channels on the upper channels (90+ i forgot the exact channel)

 

 

pros:

+ spacious rooms

+ fresh interiors (parang bago, parang hindi motel)

+ better food than most

+ very affordable promos

 

cons:

- some toilet problems on some units (I HOPE THE MANAGEMENT READS THIS)

- some problematic airconditioners (I HOPE THE MANAGEMENT READS THIS)

 

 

despite its quirks, i would still highly recommend this hotel/motel. ok ang food portions, promos, and interiors. definitely worth your money.
