This post, is again not for all: Only for those who want to have a great performance in the market. I can't recall if I shared this information already in the past. But in every aspect in life, there is a rule that I follow. It is, when I want to learn something, or probably get information that I need. I always try to learn from the best. Having a very simple mindset in mind, shared by the elders, "being with or learning with 5 wises persons in the room, could make you the 6th". Re: the latest youtubers, (jtrade, palaboy trader, money & chi and tito vlogs). All i can say is, they have potentials for a being a youtuber (madaldal e, using sweet and enticing words, a must naman sa gantong field). But in terms of highest form of standard in learning the markets, for me, "nahh". 😅 I didn't say this, just to mock the person/s involved btw. But if you really know how to filter the good from the bad investors/traders in the market. There are only two vital categories. 1. How they managed their risk. (proof of how they managed their losses) 2. Trading/investing results. (proof of profitability). And if you look carefully on the above mentioned names, how they are doing?? Any idea? Example: in this video of money &chi with Jtrades at 1:25:20 (timestamp); he mentioned that he will join the investacup, which is a barometer of a person's trading skills. Since this was a trading contest. I don't personally knew him, or have an idea if he officially joined the cup. But when looking at 2020/2021 investacup results; his name is not to be found. 😅 I attended the 2020 investacup panel discussions (invited by a trader friend who's a member of the top 10 that time). Even on 2021 investacup, his not on the list. In short, olats. He claims that he uses, elliot wave in his trading. For comparison; try to watch Javi Medina's work/discussion applying elliot, and you will see the big difference. He's a fund manager who's using the same form of technique/strategy in the market that shows results. An elliot wave practitioner, investacup champion and a member of top ten in the following investacup, COL's FM, Founder of Open journal. If this isn't enough good results, for you. Check USIC current list (a real money trading competition in the US; where some of the great traders are known for) Here: his at 20,000 usd division; 4th place and contest is still ongoing. https://financial-competitions.com/ Other Elliot Wave Practitioner I know were, Roy lacsamana (Javi's Teacher), Juanis Barredo (Javi's Teacher), Jojo Gaston (BOH Teacher). P.S. I'm not an Elliot wave practitioner. Just stating facts and credible information. Again, quality learning is different from being entertained.

Market outlook for 2nd half is already out (seen col financial and first metrosec; not sure with the others). It is already uploaded in youtube. When I have lots of time to burn. I do watch it, to see/learn or have an idea of the potential catalyst. Just do take note, where the meeting/s are held. Since, there will be some changes with its price and volume and so as the liquidity. So do your diligence to scan each and every stock. And not just blindly buy anything listed on their stock picks. Good luck!

Yup, if I recall it right. (before pandemic pa ata yun) Re: the fee's sa seminar nung trader's den. I have no idea. Di ko gets, baket saken mo itatanong. hehehe Piece of advice sir, if your really eager to learn something. try mo mag google din or gamet ng kahet anung search engine to get information/s you want to learn or find out. Wala ka naman sa dinosaurs era e. Gusto mo lahat spoonfed. hahaha!

No brainer yung tanong TBH. Pero sige, sagutin naten. Technically, yung mga bagong brokers. Mostly likely, has a shorting features/functionality kaya lang sa ngaun ito ay nakadisable. (this was answered by edmund lee in one of COL's seminar; if I recall it right) Baket? Nagkaron ng discussions/meetings about it in the past, pero wala pa naman recent updates. Meaning to say, still under review yung mga guidelines/rules/ and etc before nila i-approved ito. - Shorting was suggested, to provide more liquidity on the philippine market. Since, it was really a small market that is known to be illiquid compared to other markets. - Also other markets, offers both long/shorting. So para maipattern naren sa iba. But for some reason, sobrang tagal na ng talks about it. But until now, ala pa din approval ng PSE. Bottom line, lahat ng brokers. Sumusunod lang sila lahat sa PSE.

There is a misconception about that term "long term hold" and this was over used by the public without realizing the real meaning of it. Long term hold, means holding/investing/trading a stock for a long term while you are in profit. What makes its wrong, is that people holds a losing stock position long term. So it should be: A long term holder/investor/trader while in profit. And a short term investor/holder/trader during losses.

Good share bro, keep sharpening the saw. Di ako nakapagjoined or nacheck contents nila. Narinig ko lang sa tropa ko who joined on that group at inaral yung mga mama/calma strat. Kamusta resulta ng tabularasa mo? If tama pagkakaalala ko, yung members nila na nagseminar ay sinusuggest nila na magprofit ng 30% or up ata sa tabularasa, bago mag real port. Tabularasa is virtual port btw (para sa ibang magbabasa).
-
Not a member bro. But I attended their open house events. Nalaman ko lang from a trader friend, previous BOH member, and colleague na pwede mag joined for free. His famous words "Wag mag utak retail" hehehe.

Bro, I agree with your statement "Good fundamentals and good company". But every stock undergoes a market cycle. Believe it or not. Btw, I only agree, that this was a good stock to buy and hold at the timeline posted. (look at the red arrows and vertical lines). But from nov 2021 - april 15 2024, it became a company to sell and ignore. Posted chart for your reference. Any stock bro, undergoes a cycle. Tingnan mo $Dito, $MM and any others na nag lead ng market. asan na ngaun? Laglag na diba. Yun lang yun. TBH, full disclosure i bought this stock, july 26, 2024 @4.93 and 5php using my sister's port. Since I was managing her port (only port i managed in PH market right now). I understand, that you may have some further questions in here. So in advance, i'll answer what I saw. - highly liquid name, currently it has 280.64M. (tells me, institutions have it and not just retailers own the stock). Do you agree? - the stock, is a candidate of a turn around situation in my system. What i mean is this. From april 17 2024, it rips 69% to the upside. Then base out for 70 days (Institutions accumulated it and if you see in the price action, the gains did hold). At that time, i was just constantly waiting for it to setup and provide a low risk entry point. Just triggered an entry at the price I mentioned. So, syempre up nako, acen current price is 5.49. - Now, if your next question is how long or until what price it will rise? That I can't answer. No one really knows. What I only know, is when it is extended (my process tells me, to sell a portion of what i hold on it in strength to realized gains) then trend follow the rest. - group move. As you can see, energy names in the markets are strong right now. Look at $MER it was rising as well right. Not sure if I have mentioned before that it's great if someone can identify the market theme. It's only because, its makes you money. Again, I'll post a daily chart of what i saw for your reference. Bait ko noh? What i want to leave in this conversation is. As always, "Never buy the story, never buy the numbers, without price confirmation". Have a nice day, I do hope I answered your inquiry.

Have lots of time to burn again. So while waiting for the script to finish. Post muna ng makabuluhang bagay. Back read few pages and check kung anong medyo may sense na tanong or statement yung maaring sagutin. Then nakita ko yung common statement na "parang sugal tong stock market". - They say those words, pero pag tinanong mo sila, ano ba alam nila how the market actually moves, how or why the price moves? Wala naman masagot, nanghuhula, or ang way nila how to buy/sell a stock is by looking/getting recommendations from forums like this or from anyone else, kakamot kamot ng ulo, sisi ng sisi sa president or kung sino man, and any other reason. Kung di ka ba naman tanga magiinvest ka ng hard earned money/or any funds mo ng di mo nireresearch, inaral, inintindi kung anong merun sa papasukin mo. Yung fund managers nga, daily work na nila ito ha inaaral pa. Tas di rin lahat sila consistently profitable. Tapos ikaw, wala kang alam, mag eexpect na kumita? edi wow! hahaha. Pwede siguro makachamba ka. Few trades ganyan, but consistently, i doubt. So anung tamang gawin? Itreat mo as your own business. Ito lang yung way, to be consistenty profitable in the markets na alam ko.

In general, just do your own due diligence of researching/studying the investment firm/asset/target field before putting your hard earned money. Attend seminars/talks if you need to. After doing that, start small and see how the results progress. There is really no, one size fits all in this endeavor. To stay on topic: in my POV below are the list of good long term investments. - Real estate/Land ownership(complete papers with no issues). - Pag-ibig MP2. As they say, the government never fails to pay. - Only invest in the markets (stock market/global market/forex or any risky assets), if you happen to study and have a knowledge to it. If your lazy, or somewhat too busy to learn from how it works. I would suggest to stay out of it.

Same as all the other trading tools it is important to know the advantages/disadvantages and the limitations of it. To be specific; i'll give few examples. For your online broker: does it have a screener on its own(how you choose good stock or name); does it provide a guide tech/fundamental reports (source of credible research and possible catalyst), does it have an app (alternative access beside the web; does it have a minimal downtime for you access), does it have a decent charting tool, in terms of money security is reputable enough and credible/secured on handling your money. Commissions, does it charged a fair price, short-cut/hot keys for faster input. That's some of the things you should find out in my POV. Aside from knowing how to maneuver on the broker/tools you used.

Haven't watched PBBM's SONA yet. Normally, even though US/global CPI, not a thing for me to watch it real time. I just try to watch its summary of the session. What I normally do is the following: - Analyzed how my watchlist, current holdings are doing. Is it holding the drop, is it strong, or it is an egg that is dropping. - Scanning. Looking/Identifying the market theme. What name's/groups are strong (RS). Always remember: It's not the news that is important, its the reaction to it. - Fundamentals do work, it just takes time before it progress. - Price is King in the market. Before a news or event comes, normally price goes first. It has always been the same. Clue less why I don't normally watch those events? Here's why; - Full of emotions. May mabanggit na negative against sa hawak mo, possible isipin mo na agad. Hala, baka maapektuhan yung hawak ko. Without, really assessing what does the price tells you. Same thing on the positive side, na for example we will lean towards improving "the infrastructure". tingin mo agad kelan bumili ng kung anung related. - Analysis Paralysis. Same reason above. and etc na wala namang kabagay bagay.

Iba paren yung legit broker for me. Pag nilatag kasi ganto lang para saken. - Normally, nag open lang naman ng gantong types of account for small amount of investment, ease of picks (since feeder fund yung listed or ETF), and easy access (Just like what is advertised). But yung hindi nakikita ng iba is yung ibang factors like accessibility (down ng app), transaction fees (fees na sa managing fund added pa sa gcash fees), market knowledge (right time to invest), future proofing (like if magventure ka on trading, managing a significant amount) and etc. So, kung oks lang sayo yung limitations and yung existing features. I think go for it. If not, just open an account to a legit broker.

Got lots of time to burn, so I'll share some info re: your URC: (just for clarity) Technically di naman talaga naghit ng pandemic level prices ito. Btw, I treat your statement "URC hitting pandemic level prices" as prices hit 82php again. This is what happened; it bottomed out at 82php (March 16,2020) recovered; after that it plummet again up to 93.25 (june 13, 2022) recovered once again and plummeted once again. Bottomed out recently at 89.10 php. This was a normal price action on trading or investing in a stock that is under a downtrend fashion (Lower high, lower low). As you can see. I've marked all the points i have said in the screen print for your reference. Now, let's deal with the feeling "bummed about URC". It only means, you were holding it for a while now and you may have ridden it during the roundtrips that took place. Di mo naman siguro mararamdaman yung disappointments along the way if let's say nakabili ka for example nung pandemic at 82php then you have sold it at around 140php right? Kasi technically, kumita ka nun in less period of time. Now let's move on with your second statement: Kaya ka lang naman ng hinayang kasi nakita mo na yung 16% move. In short, hindsight na. In which on investing or trading the stock market, real time ito. Let's change the scenario. Chineck mo price ng $urc over the net at nakita mo down ng 16% from your bought price. Nanghinayang ka ba magdagdag paren at that situation? Or nag-isip ka ba na teka baka bumaba pa ito? or Nag-isip ka ba na benta ko na kaya hanggat may natitira pang value sa pera ko? or lastly pwede ring yung ginagawa ng karamihan, na close port, then mag-isip na magandang company to babawi to overtime? Now i have a solution for you to end this "panghihinayang" factor. Let's say, you are trading the recovery of $urc coming from 89php nag 95 (so recovering right, kasi umaangat e). Ang gagawin mo lang, planuhin mo. Simple planning example, pag nag 98 or let's say 100 si $urc, bili ako ng x amount shares. In that way, if it hits 98 or 100 makakabili ka. If hindi naman nag 98 or 100. Honestly speaking, for me. Since ang title neto "Hinayang". Sasabihin ko na yung top reversal trade for my eyes. $ACEN recovered almost 30% in 2 weeks and few days time.

The theme of the market right now is reversals, continuation of moves, and my favorite outliers. Top idea for reversal in my view is no other than $chp, were in it bounce from a support level 1.20-1.22 confluence with its 200MA support. Market is pricing in rumors re: if $dmc will really gonna be buying $chp and adding it to their arm of business. This is the same catalyst why it went up in the 1st place. (just in case your not aware). Here's that evidence in terms of price; I didn't bought it. Since it wasn't my cup of tea. (So, i'm just watching it). In time, you would understand that not all moves are meant to be bought. Most especially if your results is, poor in that type of strategy. For those that have caught it and made money on it (realized gains/already sold their shares). Congratulations! The worst case scenario at this point should be a fair trade. Yung wins turns into a loss. Tawag dun engot! addendum: as you can see, move or price move comes first way ahead before the news. Then what happens after news came out; gap down. Perfect buy the rumor, sell the news example right. Todays chp chart. gap down open

Information shared is very helpful and can be true or not. Hence, this must be validated through price and volume. The only question is "do you have the skillsets required to read or basically understand what the price is telling?". If one doesn't know how to interpret it. The undying cycle of confusion, stress, just believing to hear say will never end and etc. Since most of the markets where weak right now. To brighten up your day, I'll share one stock that I am still holding for my sister's account in PH. I'll be trimming half if it hits 3.27 (auto orders is already set btw). Bought this stock April 1 eod @ 2.72 and added a few more on the 17th; eod as well @ 2.90; (reason for buying; price action, low risk entry point, liquid, divs play, and RS)
