  1. yeah, shogun vs machida rematch, can't wait. also, i would like to see anderson silva vs jon jones, because i think they have some similarities in the way they move (e.g fluid movements)

  2. Amici is still the best value for money when it comes to pizza. Pizza is thin crust, so if you prefer the thick ones then this is not the place for you. Pizza is baked in a stone oven, which is as close as you can get to the authentic pizzerias in Italy. Obviously upside is the reasonable price. Downside is that it is a self service restaurant, so if your date does not like this then go somewhere else.

i agree..Amici best value for your money..food taste great specially their pizza and gelatos ;)

so, amici has great pizzas, how about their pastas? i heard that amici is more on the commercialized type than the authentic type?

  3. I agree but there is more to it.

When you do kettlebell is not the same as weight lifting. In weight lifting you isolate your development to a particular muscle not to a movement.

In kettlebell you develop your whole body strenght from the core. With that it give you strenght without making your muscles bulkier.

The kettlebell exercises is a functional movement system workout.

Example the Snatch its a combination of one hand swing and then switch where you change the kettlebell position to your backhand area giving it a punch up.

In this way it strenghtens the forearm, shoulders, waist and back muscles in one action.

One of the difficult moves is the so called Dragon twist. Its where from a lying position you lift with one kettlebell up like a snatch with e your opposite arm support it then you go up trying to stand maintaining the kettlebell position up.

In just a week I develope a triceps and util now I still not used to having a triceps since my arms before are small.

I am doing kettlebell exercise at the Philippine Kettlebell Training Center which is in San Juan. They were the first to introduce it here in the Philippines.

However, this is the training center or gym there is another one but its a club or group. Its Philippine Kettlebell Club but they only do group gatherings to perform kettlebell.

I prefer it in the gym since there is supervision involve and its fun specially with sexy ladies around. The ladies here have bodies almost like Jessica Biel. :D

If you like to check them out you can find them in facebook search for Philippine Kettlebell Training Center or go to their facebook page

    Philippine Kettlebell Training Center (Facebook)

the philippine kettlebell training center you're referring to is also the krav maga gym, right? is tommy blom their mainstay kettlebell instructor or he just visits there sometimes?

  4. UFC Champs seem to have been taking calculated risks. Getting careless means losing the championship. For BJ Penn he was too careful, then losing to Edgar. That's why I like Fedor. He finishes his fights, too bad he's not in the UFC.

    agree. emelianenko fedor.

  5. bringing back this old thread (since my gf loves italian cuisine)

well, i'm not really a fan of italian pasta (yet), but the best pasta that i love so far is baked zitti of sbarro, with just the plain white sauce.

of course i'd like to try other restaurants out there. for the experts here, what can you suggest if i'm looking for authentic italian cuisine but not that very expensive? i've backread a little and from what i've read, carpaccio ristorante italiano and pagliacci are some of the authentic italian restaurants, but i checked their menu/pricelist and its a little expensive for me. i'd like to try them one of these days but right now i'm looking for a price-friendly one (with maybe P1000 or less budget for two persons), others that are on this price range i think are amici and a'veneto, but others say that they're not that authentic and more on the commercialized type. what can the experts here recommend?

    thanks.

  6. i remember when i was a little boy, my mother and i had a date at a japanese restaurant named OKI SOBA, it was the very first time i've eaten at a japanese restaurant, so i don't really remember if it was an authentic japanese restaurant, but i sure liked japanese food since then, of course i really had no idea if the food was really so delicious (in terms of being japanese) as i was just a little boy back then and can't really remember much of the details, maybe i found it really delicious due to some other factors like it was a special day for me spending a time with my mom and i was feeling really great and happy, and it was my first time eating japanese food. but some of the foods we ate that i can remember was shrimp tempura, tuna sashimi and lots of sushi, and i can also remember my mom teaching me how to use chopsticks. i don't know if this OKI SOBA still exists, or where it is located, since it was a long time ago i've been there, but does anyone here know the place and have tried it there before?
