My good finds sa Komikon are cheap comicbooks na nasa 10 to 25 pesos each.. The best buys are the Harbinger TPB, Madame Xanadu #1, Chuck #1 and Army of Darkness #1 (first Army of Darkness comicbook).. Gumastos lang ako ng mga P400 on back issues..

Thanks for the tip bro at hanapin ko yung shop. Nga pala at may isang namakyaw ng mga tpb dun sa area ng yun. May nakita akong green lantern compilation (di ko lang maalala kung anong story arc yun). I was wishing na may magbenta pala nun ng murang darth maul figure. Naalala ko yung comicon kasi sa megamall na yung pinamura pa ata ay 500p (ayaw magpatawad nung nagbebenta-hehehe)

Bossing ako pumunta at napalaban ako kakahanp ng good buy and memento from the event. Nakita ko si Gerry Alanguilan past lunch time at dami ren tao sa table niya. Not much toys for sale at nanghinayang ako dun sa magneto na binibenta lang ng 200 (nagdalawang isip pa kasi ako). Nabili ko lang ata yung call center comics na gawa pala ng kaibigan ko.

Interesting na yung mga nangyayari kay Bruce Wayne sa rip. I like the latest issue the way it is being presented (kung paano nag-iiba ng persona si Batman). May naalala ako na old character sa Batman dun sa kulay ng uniform niya ngayon.

I was at co-galleria last night. Mukhang mabait at knowledgeable yung bantay dun kagabi (nagbibigay pa ng tips regarding tpb's). Sayang yung silver surfer na figue (mahal lang kasi).

Parang antagal ata tapusin yung Btaman Deathmask. 2-3weeks na ata yung delay. Hmmmmm.

SI4...Good buy kaso san mas mura yung variant (3k kasi-hehehe) Oks ren yung mga dialogue ng mga skrull. Good planning and application kaya ayun. Sana may spoiler tag dito at natawa ako dun sa isang scene sa jungle.

Naiinis ako dun sa mga comic shop na ipinamimigay yung reservation tapos kukunin number mo pero di ka naman sasabihan na anjan na pala yung order. Yung comic odyssey sa sm north ganun ang ugali tapos wala pang plastic and board pag bumili ka sa kanila ng comics. Pag bibili ka ay by bulk ang gusto nila. Kaya ayun at lumipat na lang ako ng suking tindahan.

bossing the other way around nangyari between me and my officemates. marami kasi sila mga collector sa office tapos may kanya kanya sila na title or series na collection. kaya ayun at ginanahan ulit ako mag-collect with world war Hulk (parang nabitin nga lang ako sa rage ni Hulk sa bandang dulo) then jumped to Batman Hush (for sale na pala...hehehe). kumukuha ako ng feedback madalas dun sa mga blogs or sites na naka link sa wikipedia (dami kasi bawal na site sa office). minsan sa ign pag gusto ko makabsa ng konting preview at release date. laking tulong ren yung mga opinion dito sa thread and maski sa pex (kaso inactive na yung thread). i'm hoping to hear more opinions about titles and arcs para good buy and long term investment na ren :thumbsupsmiley:

Anyone here able to score a copy of Final Crisis with Green Lantern as cover? Marami akong officemate na nagtatanong at naghahanap ng variant na yun kaso no luck for the past 2 weeks.

On a side note ay parang super curious ako sa comics ngayon after my parents denied me the privilege of having such collection nung nag-aaral pa ako. Naalala ko lang ata na pinaghirapan ko ipunin ay yung X-men Alpha#1 na binili ko sa Filbar's ali mall. Tapos ang bilis mayupi ng front cover. Tsk tsk. Sayang 130 ko nun. hehehe

Batman RIP #3 is ummm...dark & twisted...Para ren ako nagbabasa ng Da Vinci Code na complex yung takbo ng mga utak ng mga character. Tapos yung nabasa ko pa yung nasa last panel. Hmmmm.

I'm excited to read FC #2 since Saturday ko pa makukuha. Tingnan ko kung malilito ulit ako o hinde. But as a writer I believe that evrything is hit and miss. You might have a great work the first time then you suddenly suck then you're back in track again. I can't comment on Morisson's attitude since I haven't read any comments yet but I have a hunch na palaban talaga itong si Morisson kapag nacriticize eh base sa mga previous works nya.

I'll just wait and see for the next turn of the story (maski sablay yung kinalabasan). Eto naging promise ko sa sarili ko after being able to buy comics again.

agree ako sa mga nasabi niyo about the review regarding final crisis. palipat lipat ren ako ng mga blog and dami ren di natutuwa sa palakad ni grant morrison. may nabasa pa ata ako na mejo deadma si grant dun sa mga feedback regarding his style. parang fight fire with fire yung dating ng mga sagot niya. pero hoping ako na maganda kalabasan (or at least something close to it) ng storylinr without messing up the character.

Speaking of resto bills. Napapaisip ako kung dapat bang mag-iwan ng tip kung yung bill may kasamang sc? Kasi kahapon sa aveneto pina-card namin as usual yung kinain namin pero yung kabilang table nag-iwan pa ng tip maski ni card na nila. Nasanay na kami na pag walang sc ay mag iiwan kami ng tip.

I just got most of my pulls for this week.. I browsed the latest issue of the Hulk and I salivated for the next issue (#5).. Why? Its because its the Red Hulk Vs. Thor.. Although, I haven't really read this series since issue #1, I've always been a fan of big slugfests.. And Hulk battling Thor is a BIG slugfest.. hahaha... :thumbsupsmiley:

Final Crisis 2 - Sa wakas bumilis ng konti yung pace ang nagustuhan ko yung Green lantern Corps element sa storyline especially with one of the alpha green lantern. Is it one of the alphas yung nakita ni J. Stewart (bago siya sinugod)?

well just an observation how many of you have work inn a bank or naging teller siguro you would understand their situation. firstly teller does really need your id or check you out even ITS YOUR MONEY that yu are withdrawing Bec. its also for your OWN protection and protection din sa kanila., Kasi of the teller ay magshort ng money sya ang sasagot non so she will have to be sure na tama ang money and ang pagbibigyan nya even you will be carefull. and dahil doon kaya mabagal ang service and doon sa mnga nagkwekwentuhan na teller normal lang yon ikaw ba pa nagwork you dont speak to your officemates?., but of course dapat may limit din yon.

I think the people from BDO has a id system so they can immediately verify who you are. Yun kasi sabi sa akin ng friend ko who works at BDO. Exception to the list eh kung representative ka ng account at dun lang ata magkakaroon ng additional verification.

Complaint ko lang about BDO is that they dont have a specific counter for express transactions. Kaya kung malas mo kung yung mga nauna sayo eh maraming bitbit na transaction slips eh ipit ka.

Just need to vent my disappointment towards KFC and the socalled (Mis) Management Team.

 

I am a frequent customer of KFC for the chicken is damn finger lickin good but I cannot say the same for the sanitary conidtion of ALL restaurants, the indifferent and undisciplined staff and the half baked marketing programs of the brand, at least here in the Philippiones.

 

Pansinin ninyo, during lunch time (thats 1100 to about 1400), the crew, in full uniform, will gladly eat with the patrons in the dining hall, their plates overflowing with all the rice they can grab, the BIGGEST chicken pieces and topped with tons of gravy! Called the attenstion already of their manager's a few times (EDSA Crossing and Shaw) but management daw cannot do anything about this practice.

 

Have u seen how their restaurants smell? Feeling ko napabayaan na mantika! Again, these is hapopening on ALL stores.

 

Further, 'bastos' ang crew ng restaurant, except maybe for a few who I smile to. If customers dont smile not acknowledge them, dont expect any sense of Customer Service.

 

Btw, mura ang hot wings nila. I think its PhP 49.00 for three (3) pieces. But u basically get 2 wing tips and and 1 wing bone. Slammed them for this marketing confusion.

 

Its unfortunate that KFC is being managed by the same company selling car batteries (MOTOLITE) and Mister Donut.

 

I AM PRAING VERY HARD THAT THEY LOSE THE GODDAMN FRNACHISE TO A GROUP THAT KNOWS WHAT FOOD BUSINESS IS ALL ABOUT!

kfc (almost all branches) - parang madulas parati yung mga sahig nila even though bagong mop.

kfc customers - minsan ay inaangkin yung thermos na may gravy (as if naman kasama yun sa bayad nila) tapos masama pa tumingin yung ibang mga customer pag tinanong mo kung tapos na sila gamitin. sa sobrang kapal ng mukha eh di cguro naisip na di dapat nila ginagawa yun.

Grabe kagabi at sobrang hassle yung pagkawala ng globe signal sa buong qc area. Hanggang ngayon ay may mga affected areas pa ren sa qc.
