Track & field? Nice. Dati rin ako sa Athletics. Hurdles, sprints, high jump, pole vaulting nung HS kaya ginawa akong utility man (pang fill in sa maski anong event) at Decathlon kasi malakas ako sa lahat ng event. Nag Silver ako noon sa National games for youth. Hi
My sports are , Lawn Tennis , Track & Field , Football ⚽

Last year nangyari ito, nung nakatira pa kami sa Cavite. Yung bahay namin doon maliit lang. Yung living, dining at kitchen walang pagitan na wall. Camella kasi may gawa.

Years ago 1995, 160 kph with my old Nissan Sentra JX. Stock to ha, without any mods, rims nya “14 alloy pa sa SLEX nung hindi pa maganda yung kalsada. Maalon yung kalye at that speed. I think I lost contact with the ground a few times. It was scary. Nowadays, I easily go 140 with my 2014 diesel Accent hatchback. I hardly feel the speed since the engine is quiet. If the suspension is better, I can probably go faster.

This is not OT, I want to share something I read from a blog by a former thera about clients & theras. I just need to know first. How much does a thera earn a day?

Manual for long drives & matic for city drives. It’s a good thing my matic SUV has Sportronic trans. I can now downshift sa curves instead of using the brakes. More control like a manual.

For personal use, Starex. More comfortable seats, more spacious, more ameneties at mas maganda dating. For business purposes, Hi Ace or Urvan.

Kung silver or white car, chrome. Kung red, black, gray or dark colored cars, gun metal.

When going downhill, never put the gear in neutral. Aside from being dangerous, throttle is slightly open making the car consume a little fuel to keep the engine running, as opposed to having the car in gear, which closes the throttle & consumes no fuel.

For that fun to drive factor, a car will beat an SUV anytime. I myself have an Accent hatch m/t as a daily driver (meaning for work) & I drive solo all the time. My daily drive is also in the expressway & places down south so using a manual makes it more fun. It is also very economical. But during weekends, going to the grocery & bring my family along to the City (QC, Manila or Makati), I need the diesel a/t SUV. It is a lot more spacious, economical for a SUV & comfortable to drive. It also has good ground clearance. I don’t really need a fun to drive car in City traffic. I need a practical one. When going on a long out of time drive with the family, nothing beats a big ride for comfort & safety. & I think these are just some of the factors that makes it popular for most new car buyers.I don't find SUV's to be practical, I have one because of a need for a better safety rating for my family and a better cargo capacity which I don't most of the time, they're gas guzzler, I can go twice the distance on my GE Fit/Jazz with the same amount of fuel, I also think they're boring to drive, well they handle very well but they are bad on cornering due to their higher center of gravity, sedans are more fun to drive. I was planning of selling my SUV and get a WRX instead but family is getting bigger so I'm sticking with my SUV for now. I just wish Honda Philippines would add the Civic Hatchback Sport in their line up, it would have been perfect when it comes to practicality, just my opinion though.

Sorry, It should have read Sports Sedans. I’m not talking about cheap cars like the Vios, Wigo or Picanto type. Obviously, you won’t buy an SUV if your budget is not enough. SUV’s will cost upward of P1.2M & most sports sedans cost more than that. Most SUVs are diesel powered, making them more efficient than a gas guzzling Sports sedan. SUVs also offer the height, are bigger & roomier, have more ground clearance (for floods), have more trunk room & are safer due to it’s stiffer & sturdier body. Obviously, an SUV doesn’t handle as well as a sports sedan, but most Pinoys don’t really care. Pinoys care more about the accessories (HU, airbags, button start back up camera) than the driveability of the car. Im not too sure if it was December or January, but Fortuners outsold Vios for the first time. Personally, my SUV is for family use while my daily driver is a car, more maneuverable.

For city use, gasoline cars are more practical. No warm ups or cooling down period & no turbo to foul up when it is always stuck in traffic. For long drives, nothing will beat the diesel engine. Quiet & low reving engine, higher torque than gasoline for climbing up inclines. Diesel fuel is very cheap.

An emerging trend daw nowadays is choosing vehicles in the UV segment (SUV, Mid SUV, Compact SUV....) rather than sedans. Logic is that sedans, for their size, are priced as much or even more than SUVs which offer more practicality than sedans.

Around P1000 every 7-10 days, depende sa route. 600-700 kms ang range.

Funny how people will buy cars just because of the resale value. If you are truly a car guy, you’d buy a car because you want to enjoy driving it. I really can’t see myself buying a car just because it is the choice taxi unit then spend the next 5 years bored to death driving it, then sell it just to buy the next facelifted version. If you are truly a car guy, buy a car that thrills you, makes you excited to drive. Hondas by far, are the better choice.

Honda. Kung sa Toyota, only the high end models. The lower end ones, like the Vios & Wigo are trash. Not worth the money.

Hindi ba mahirap sa gabi?
Yung sakin dark tint all around except sa windshield.

My Uniqlo Raw Selvedge regular fit jeans. I bought 3 pairs, not at the same time but when it went went on sale. Regular price is around P1,600. Pag sale, around P900. Since I like Raw jeans, I wear these daily until I get the natural fades. My first pair I already retired, blew out the groin area, currently using the 2nd pair & got good fades on them. I usually wear these on casual occasions if needed. My third pair, I use when event calls for a casual, but not too casual wear. It is very dark indigo w/o fades yet. I am looking to buy Sage raw selvedge jeans from Indonesia soon.
