How much did you pay for the FM2?
I want one to pair with my 50 1.2 Ai-S... focusing gets difficult on a D70s
Where did you get your 50 1.2 Ai-S; how much? 'am hunting one for my D40x (translation, a much harder way of focusing for me :upside: )

G'day winos! Yup, do avoid Gato Negro, I bought my old man a bottle about a year ago and he didn't like it all. Christmas is just around the corner, got to visit Wine Depot soon and try out bods' Aussie wine suggestions.

Presently, a messenger bag. I'm still looking for a backpack with a laptop compartment big enough to accommodate my 15.4" laptop. Any suggestions?

welcome to the thread, pare! Di ba dun ka din sa UP thread?
There's Wine Depot along Julia Vargas - for Aussie wines I think it's the tops here - a lot of selections from best buys to really expensive ones. The main branch is in Malugay St. , Makati. Although the Julia Vargas branch is smaller, they have the same wines, albeit fewer stocks. (they don't have Yellow Tail, though - different distributor)
cheers!
yup, naliligaw rin ako sa UP thread. thanks for the info bods!
hi, I think you should better go to Future Trade/ Master Brand Store, that's near House of Minis along C5, Bario Ugong Pasig, they've got Southcorp Wines. Or you can go to Wine Depot in Julia Vargas, near citygolf accross Valle verde.thanks spurt!
you may want to try the wineshop in Unimart. You wont believe what these guys have on offer. Gran Cru, Rosemount estate show reserve, and a host of other aussie labels. my 1 swizzle comment on the yellow tail -- if its 2003, it's green better hold on to it a few more years so it mellows. but i you prefer to "drink" now, post your notes.cool! i'll try to drop by tomorrow. i'll try to post some amateurish, novice notes.
happy weekend and happier drinking guys and gals! :thumbsupsmiley:

nice thread, very informative! reading through the last two pages of this thread made miss Melbourne, Australia - about two months ago i was having yellow tail with some friends there. i think i should let my dad have a taste of yellow tail. if you guys won't mind (this question may have been asked for the nth time), could you recommend a wine store within or near Ortigas area which sells affordable aussie wines? bihira kasi akong maligaw sa makati o qc area e.
thanks!

kabi-kabila ang coffeshops dito e. but my fave are the one's selling free trade coffee. you're able to help the one's who grew and harvested the coffee, not the greedy middlemen and capitalists.
cheers!

the sample pics of the D90 using the 18-105 kit lens at the dpreview site looks promising (at least for my taste). i might choose it over the D300 since i'm just a hobbyist...
