punta ka sa Free Stuff for members dun sa Software mo search mo sya may nagpost dun ng free Deepfreeze
aw may nag post na pala di ko nabasa agad sorry
Or there is another way to do it without installing any kind of software...
If you are running Windows 2000, NT, XP or Vista, then don't give administrative (adminstrator) rights to the other users that login.
Create another username or profile for the other users and give them "user" or "power user" rights only. This way they get to manipulate their own "logins" only and not meddle with your files and profile. Plus they do not get to install anything without your permission...hehehehe!

ok thanks...but wat about the thing he said " refresh and restart the dhcp client of your laptop to fix the issue."
what is that and how do i do it?
that's what you did...you renew ur IP address. if he meant the service then click start -> run -> type "services.msc" (without the quotes)...and on the services window...go to DHCP client...right click then select "restart"...not that it will do you good though...read my previous post about renewing the IP address...

im practically a dummy for these things sir, could you lay it out for me the instructions as to how to do this?
click Start -> go to Run -> type CMD
On CMD (black window) type "ipconfig /renew" (without the quotes).
See if that works.
usually it only renews your internal IP address which will not work with Rapidshare. You need to be able to renew your external IP address which is the one that Rapidshare "sees".
I think there is a free software that does this and re assigns a new external IP address for you to be able to download using Rapidshare...

i have a simple problem sir with my limewire, i installed the newest version ( with my old pc its working fine but i have a new pc now) the problem is nakalagay lang sa lower left ng limewire na "starting connection" i waited for abot 30 mins pero ganun pa din. for an hour ganun pa din. pano kaya paganahin un mga sir? thanks alot po mga sir :thumbsupsmiley: :thumbsupsmiley:
this could mean:
1). you have a very slow connection.
2). you're personal firewall is on (do you have one? Windows XP has its own built-in).
3). P2P is blocked and not allowed on your ISP or network.
try reinstalling the software and see if that works.

contacted the vendors themselves to provide a 30 day POC license.
loaded it into an isolated network environment.
used our criterias for evaluation.
I also do IT work and other items to put into consideration are:
1). Number of users in your environment.
2). Hardware specs of your computers.
3). Applications loaded on your computers and servers.
4). Type of security needed on your environment. This depends cz some only need AV and others AV + firewall and other stuff like that.
If your on a corporate environment, I'd pick an effective AV (i like Symantec AV, not Norton) with a very good central administration console which will make the job easier.
If your on a personal desktop or laptop, pick something effective and free...there are tons out there but make sure they're valid ones. AVG is ok i guess but I'm using ESET NOD32 AV
which does the job and leaves a very small memory footprint on your systems (it's not free though). Try Spybot too to clean spyware and adware...they're good too.
Hope this helps!
