Sorry bro pero kapag regular user ka ng Lacoste, alam na alam mo kung fake yung suot o hindi. Kahit ano pang galing ng pagdadala mo, kapag fake ang suot, paniguradong bistado ka.
maybe your reffering to divesoria version na lacoste. marami akong nakitang fake na lacoste pero di mo mahahalata sa malayoan(lalo na hong kong galing). usually di naman natin nilalapitan ang nagsosoot at binubusisi kung fake o orig ang soot sa ganong sitwasyon. looks at economic status lang sometimes binabasihan natin. just imagine Binay wearing fake lacoste at nakikita mo sya sa TV, will you think na fake ang soot nya? tapos lumabas ka sa bahay nyo may nakasalubong kang nagtutulak ng kariton wearing original lacoste will you think na orig ang soot nya?

lacoste shirt are actually manufactured in India, I'm a frequent traveller to India (at least 3/year)... meron silang factory outlet in Bangalore. Lacoste only cost around 1.2k ruppee or around 1.5k pesos. but if you buy 5 shirts, you'll have around 3 shirt for free. I use to buy around more than 50 shirts and sell it here for around 2.2k each (not bad).... i'll be going to India again on March... Bebentahan ko kayo... 2k each lang...
i have no idea about lacoste in india pero maganda ang price. my lacoste is made in peru, it cost me $70 each sa macys.

i only have 4 lacoste polo shirt. 3 years ko nang ginagamit pero OK pa rin tingnan kahit luma na. its very comfortable kasi malambot talaga ang tela yon nga lang mahal. ive discover a local product(POLO ang brand) na pwedeng ma compare ang quality sa lacoste. almost the same ang materials pero P700 lang ang price.

i truly agree with you, boss atong! in my line of work, i met with CEOs, COOs, CFOs of NYSE and NASDAQ listed corporations in the U.S. and to my surprise, their watches were stainless steel or 2 tone rolexes nothing more fancy. i also met with the same kind in taiwan and similar stainless steel watches! but in the philippines, mayors governors congressmen wear all gold rolexes, a manager or sometimes a fresh grad would be wearing an explorer or GMT...
misplaced priorities or too easy money?

you are correct, the rattrapante (dual chronograph) is only available in platinum; sell for about US$17000. the perpetual calendar/chronograph (single) is available in stainless steel.

US$31,000 ang platinum casing mas cheaper ang gold casing. 1.5 M na ang value sa atin. sa experience ko mas cheaper dito sa pinas bilhin ang watches. two years ago a friend of mine bought a rolex watch worth 280,000 pesos pero pag sa US ka bumili it would cost you $7000. i bought my rado diastar anatom for $1400 (70000 pesos) 6 years ago. when i went to manila to have it fixed sa rado center nagulat ako 50k pesos lang ang price. ganon din kaya sa IWC dude?

this is IWC Da Vinci Rattrapante in platinum casing, mas maganda at mas mahal kaysa gold. sa pagkaka alam ko platinum at gold casing lang ang Da Vinci, correct me if im wrong dude.

I have to correct you on the image. This is not a IWC Da Vinci but the Gran Complication. It sells for U.S.$300k for platinum maybe cheaper if 18k gold/rose gold.
A stainless steel Da Vinci, perpetual calendar sell in the Phils for less than P1.0million.
