Yes Ms. @Ryla of Daje. If we don't expect anyone to give this precious of a gift, then wala dapat guilt if we buy it ourselves, for us. Gift giving includes us, not just others. If within your means, sometimes nga kahit hindi, no second thoughts, no guilt afterwards, then go for it! Sa case ko, if I don't reward myself, then who will? If I dwell on expecting someone to buy it for me, then until when?

I can relate as I am exactly the same with Ms. @Ryla of Daje, as in all of the above. I save up to buy the things I want and rarely receive gifts, kaya the smallest of gifts, I would breakdown and treasure them. The difference lang siguro with Ms. Ryla is that I am broken, and broken people tend to give everything to the point there is almost nothing left. The more you give, the more you receive .. is not true for me unfortunately, but I don't care.
