Re-animator (1985) - so cheesy, it's good

In Kick-Ass, Nicolas Cage character (Big Daddy), gave a balisong as birthday gift to his daughter (Hit Girl) and when Nick asked her if she knows what she is, she answered it's Filipino.

Watched Kick-Ass last weekend and it literally kicked some serious ass! I'm not familiar with the comic book but the movie sure is way better than Watchmen, IMO. Hit Girl gave the most interesting moments although I'm sure it will concern some people. Best (non)superhero movie of the year, so far, for me.

One of my favorite TV directors passed away :

He directed some of the best episodes in The X-Files & Supernatural

I can also be myself here and show a side that some people who know me don't know I have.

Watch DVD w/ beer and balut by my side

Kanina lang. I just wish she felt how sincere I am.

I get easily irritated when things don't seem to go my way but madali rin namang lumamig ulo.
I'd prefer watching DVDs that go on out-of town gigs. Kung out of the country, OK :thumbsupsmiley:
I'm talkative pag sa tropa but when it comes to the opposite sex, natitiyope lalo na pag type ko. Words just don't come out right sometimes.
I like watching movies alone para walang istorbo, except kung loved one or crush kasama siyempre
I used to dance in high school and college. I choreographed some of the our dances during company parties during my first work gig. I'm into rock and ballad now though.
Medyo mahiyain sa beerhouse pag di pa lasing. Pag me tama na, di na takot makipagsayawan sa mga strippers sa gitna ng stage.
I love horror movies and I have a huge collection of them but I feel uneasy whenever I have to go downstairs at 3 or 4 in the morning and the lights are out.

hmmm... dont you think that adam sandler is still trapped in the 80's like most of the guys posting on this thread...
Now, that you mentioned it. Yeah, I think so too. So do most of his viewers probably as most of his movies are hits.
-
1 thing I like about Adam Sandler movies is that most of the times, I'll get to hear 80s music. Obviously iyong Wedding Singer marami but there are other movies of him that play music from the 80s. Some of my faves are Billy Idol songs (particularly Rebel Yell), Orange Crush by REM, Matador by Xmal Deutchland, Safety Dance and Pop Goes the World by Men Without Hats and songs by Inxs.

Just saw the WWE website and it looks like triple threat nga sa Wrestlemania between Triple H, Randy Orton and John Cena

Was the whole movie in 3D?
Only in IMAX and SM 3D Cinema The Block. The whole movie is 3-D and the visuals rock. Love the climactic battle.

I started collecting original DVDs 3 years ago and never bought pirated copies for myself anymore. Compared to my other collector friends, I have the smallest collection of a little less than a hundred but I'm very proud of my own since they're originals. My most favorites are the LOTR Extended editions, Star Wars original trilogy, 300 steelbook edition & The Matrix Ultimate Collection. :thumbsupsmiley:
Whats the Scariest movie you ever watched
in TVs, Movies, The Stage & Showbiz

My all-time greats: The Exorcist, The Shining, Insidious 1 & 2, The Conjuring, The Sixth Sense, The Eye (Thai), Shutter (Thai) and the Grudge (Jap).
Not exactly scarefest but I found these fun to watch: A Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th series
